You're kidding me, right? It's scheduled to be released over a month after the ROTS DVD comes out!?! Wow, what a waste.

 

It ain't a rumor no more. Every place I have been to says ROTS will be released on the 8 of november. This source is wrong. I am glad to here about the Clone War release, though.

Considering thats just a rumor... They said the Volume 2 Dvd was coming out 11/8? Did they not?

German Amazon suggests the RC2 release of EP III (and possibly even CW II) will be October 31st. Long live RC2!!!

 

Why can't we all have the same dating system. Seems silly to me. Use the American or the European but not BOTH!

Personally I tend to use words like "September" and "November" to avoid this kind of misunderstanding.

Agree totally! Do you think they will bring out a de-luxe edition which will have both volumes running all together for over two hours. I'd get it! Would be like Episode 2.1 : The Clone Wars!

The last thing I heard was August as well. But I've been looking for it in upcomming releases and havn't found a release date for it. Can anyone actually verify a date?

It will be nice to have this. It is surprising that they are releasing it so late. You would think that they would release it at the same time as Ep III to maximize the volumes purchased.

If it is due to be released this autumn (or fall, for users of the crazy American date system), it would have made sense to announce it alongside the ROTS DVD.

I am looking forward to this, and hoping that we get a reduced price double-pack of the two volumes together (I've held off buying the first one so far). A 2-hour DVD with the ability to play the whole thing non-stop sounds ideal but unlikely.

December I heard, vol 2 was fantastic

 

They should just do it now, put a sticker on it that boldly acclaims "See what happens immediately before Revenge Of The Sith" and it will sell fine, putting it out against ROTS isn't going to help it.

 

vol 2 was better than vol 1 by far and there was less episodes. i'm glad i saw it b4 i saw revenge of the sith, coz i then new why greivous was coffing non-stop.

Volume II was the best in my opinion. take that Grievous!
also Anakins voice was less annoying and more Anakin - y.

 

I been looking forward to having CWVII in my DVD Collection. I wish Lucas would announce something. I know Episode 3 DVD is coming out November 1st in USA. I would think we would hear something since the CWVII would help promote ROTS.
