Who knows about this format? We are trying to convert several files into usuable MPEG or Quicktime files.

    Anyone have experience with them?

Seems to be a new wrapper for MPEG 2 files that are recorded on the PC like a PVR (TiVo). Apparently the format is similar to ASF.

Here's some info from this page:

Extended access to *.dvr.ms files is not limited to playback; editing and authoring applications can also access the files. In some cases, video and audio streams may need to be handled separately during the editing or authoring process. The sample content consists of MPEG-2 video stream and MPEG-1 Layer 2 audio stream...

If you can pull the MPEG streams out of the file, converting that to QuickTime shouldn't be too hard.

EDIT - Okay, Google is just kicking asteroids tonight. Copy/Paste this link for a BB thread on converting DVR-MS to other formats.
