E3 2004

It's less than two months now until the biggest gaming event of the year! Who's going?

What games will they be showing SW related? What are you looking forward to?

 

ugh, I wish I could go, but alas I am still not 18, and am not employed at an appropriate video game store. Next year, hopefully. I do know that they will at least show Republic Commando, and a new trailer for Advent Children, yay!

Cali. I got invited last year, but wasn't 18 and couldn't go. There is an outside chance I could make it this year, I have to check my finals schedule and make money.

the nintendo Ds is gonna be a new handheld that isnt really supposed to replace anything.

And they're gonna have he PSP! and the next GTA!!!

 

I hope LucasArts get a lot of feedback at E3 regarding Sam & Max2.

Eh? It's a movie though, not a game. Sure, it's based on FFVII but does that really count??

 

Even tho its a movie, its gonna be there. There was an interview a while back saying that somewhere... I also heard a rumor that the movie isnt gonna go to dvd, but instead that its gonna be just on a ps2 disk. That would suck MAJOR balls if it was. Theyd loose lots of brownie points with me.

But of course! If they do release it for PS2 only I will be super mad also, seeing that PS2 is the only console I don't have. And not only that it will sell much better in DVD format.

Pesentations I'm looking forward to:

1) Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
2) Resident Evil 4
3) Final Fantasy XII
4) Star Fox 2

There are other games I'm looking forward to, like Silent Hill 4: The Room and Xenosaga Episode II, but I'm talking about as far as E3 showings go. SH4 has already had a few trailers and I don't see how they're really going to be able to make a huge showcase out of that one aside from possibly another trailer. The titles I listed above are probably going to have a massive blowout at E3.

Here are some games I'm personally wishing to see at E3:

1) Chrono Something (please God please please please)
2) Parasite Eve III
3) Super Mario 128
4) Vagrant Story II
5) Something of Mana
6) Super Mario RPG II (note: not a Paper Mario sequel)
7) Kid Icarus II (I'm simply dreaming here)
8) Next Castlevania (this one is more likely)
9) Next The Legend of Zelda (you know, a good one; I'm probably in the minority in saying I haven't been satisfied since A Link to the Past)

 

I expect to see some type of small trailer of KOTOR2 there. A month and a half seems like a long time to keep avoiding announcing the game, but it seems possible that they could do the official announcement there as well as showcasing a trailer.

Has anyone heard any rumors about what Blizzard might have in store for us this year at E3? We know that they're working on Starcraft:Ghost and World of Warcraft is in Beta right now. But those are old news! It looks like it's time for them to return to the world of Diablo or possibly announce StarCraft 2. Any thoughts?

 

I would just wet my pants if they announced Starcraft 2. It's been way overdue.

 

I have some friends that work at Blizzard... They will be at E3, so I can hit them up for info

They gonna have a playable Demo of Metroid Prime. As well as Nintendo DS should be playable.

A note to the people going to E3, can anyone find out why all of a sudden there is no games from Lucasarts for Cube being maded anymore?
