My Group Commander is from Westover AFB (Chicopee falls, MA). I'm trying to get him to accept my bet that if the Eagles win, he has to shave his head. If the Pats win, I shave mine.

I wish I was going... but no. I havr a great sports bar a mile north of Gillette Stadium where I will be watching the game.

Anybody hosting any Superbowl parties or got special plans for the game?

Just me the kids and my traditional pot of Halupkie that I make for every superbowl. Oh and some Yuengling.

I'm going to be away from home during the Superbowl . So I'll be watching from the hotel bar, or maybe at Chili's instead.

Seriously, I hope this turns out to be a good game. I have family (an aunt and uncle) across the Delaware River in New Jersey, so I'm glad they have a team to root for in this as well.

Being a Pats season ticket holder, I'm a bit torn over whether or not I want to be there. I got shut out (again!) of the lottery they have for season ticket holders to get SB tickets so I'm kind of bummed about that, but from what I'm hearing Jacksonville might very well be the worst place they've ever had a SB. Not enough hotel rooms, impossible to get a cab, and there's nothing resembling a bar or restaurant within walking distance of the stadium.

Besides, not being there means I'll have more money for attending C3!

Anybody know someone who's there at the game? If so, any horror stories?

One more day. I just love how when I go out everyone has a smile on their face. I can't remember ever seeing the region this happy. What a great time.
