ROFL!! LOVE the "Master of the Apes I am" piece!! What a great idea, and so wonderfully executed! The CW style works so very well--I totally agree with our moderator on that--it really adds to the "fun factor" of the piece! Well-thought-out, and superbly done!

orange, yellow, brown and some red with lots of white added to make skin-colour.

Looking good. Obi's expression is really deep and conveys a lot of emotion.

 

The painting has even more dense emotions now. Brilliant work!

 

Oh, cool! I LOVE the Falcon sketches! Will you be turning those into paintings (I hope!)? I think they'd both look fabulous in your superb colors! The "distraught Obi Wan" painting really touches the heart--his expression conveys his anguish very well, and the likeness to Ewan is wonderful! As always, beautiful use of color, tone and light (something I truly envy in your work!)!

6 morningsafternoons and the large picture will be on the boards after I can take a digital picture in the sun from it. Now it's only a scan

This is easily one of my favorites of all the impressive work you've shared here, earlybird: just the depth of emotion you convey--the gentleness in the Obi Wan's companion's eyes and face, the anguish in our beloved Obi Wan, which shows not only in his face and expression but in his posture as well... Beautiful colors and tones, all around a marvelous and evokative piece!
