    and the challenge with Luke in his T-16 skyhopper in Beggar's canyon.
    I made it as a comic with Luke and Biggs in the skyhopper and Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon (ghost) commenting

    Yay, comics! That reminds me, I still need to get to work on my challenge... I like the texturing of the canyon walls. Quick tip on comic lettering; usually comics are lettered in all caps, as that makes them easier to read and the letters stay uniform. Also, a small tail on the word balloon pointing to the relative vicinity of the speaker's mouth or head (as funny as it would be to see, try to avoid having a character talk out of their butt. :p ) helps to denote who is speaking. Though, keeping the word balloons beside the heads does help, without the tails, it denotes a caption or a thought box (thought balloons have been largely phased out, replaced by monologue caption boxes).

    I like the lack of panel borders and gutters, it gives the image more of a montage feel, like a splash page, rather than a sequential page. Many comic artists have been going that route, as it is similar to the ever-popular manga that kids read these days, and it's an attempt to make a still medium more akin to a movie, i.e. cinematic storytelling.

    That is shaping up rather nicely!

    I also love how you did the canyon walls, the strokes and direction of them, to me, gives a sense of speed for the T-16 run through Beggar's Canyon.

    a face is usually done by me with five or six layers each time adding little colour or brightening things up

    Thank you. acryllic is dry in a short time and with water and white paint you can add the highlights. It's unlike oils that can take layer after layer

    I have added another one to the face

    [image=http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk124/earlybird-obi-wan/forcenetart/jehna03.jpg]

    And this one is the picture I have added using scans from a book-cover and excel and paint to make a cover

    Your coloured art is quite stunning. You seem to handle the colours well :D. (Although as for the title , I am not sure if 'horses' exist in the GFFA ;) .

    Your oil painting has turned out beautifully! I love the serene atmosphere; the man and the horse, the surf rolling behind them and the skies above.

    It is lovely seeing the early stages and how it evolved to the final piece.
