As far as I know; It never specifically says the word "trix", so there isn't neccessarilly trix in the galaxy far far away.

But it does say the famous, "Orangey Orange, Grapety purple, Lime Green, rasberry red." motto to describe the white rabbit nebula.

Obviously there are grapes, oranges, rasberries and limes in the galaxy far far away.

There are scavenger rats on Corellia as well as the vrelts - so two types of rat.

And let's not forget the durni - Star Wars Galaxies answer to the rabbit. It was a Durni who first killed me in SWG (after being vaped but not killed by smugglers) ... then again, I did keep pushing its button lol

Speaking of bunnies - how about Jax from the Marvel comic series? Do I hear groans from the back there? :p

Womp Rats - large, annoying scavengers that look like rats. They must have rats in the GFFA to be able to describe something as rat-like

alzo, Massif sounds like Mastiff, a breed of large dog,

Anobas. Live on tatooine. Name looks (sounds?) like Anubis, the jackal-headed egyptian god. Anobas = jackals?

No one has mentioned that Ewoks raise domestic chickens, and if there are domestic chickens on Endor, there are probably also, by necessity, red junglefowl (the Earth wild ancestor of chickens). And Chief Chirpa had a pet iguana.

    someone watched ewok tv. :)

    I never watched that.

It was around before I was born

my sister probably watched it, though.

Tusk cats seem a little bit too much like prehistoric saber-toothes, don't you thing?

    Bantha's are esentially mastodons.

On tatooine you can sometimes hear coyotes howling.

I'll swear in court that there are frogs on dagobah

    fish, anyone?

Banthas are closer to Oxen, or yaks, than mastadons considering they have horns rather than tusks, and lack a trunk.

Speaking of Yaks, Bordoks one of the other Ewok's beasts of burden (beyond ponies), are also kind of yak like.

Well, they have Ewok Adventure at my local Hastings, so you might find it at Hastings or Blockbusters. A different type of SW movie indeed. But the Ewoks raised chickens, llamas, ponies, horses, ferrets, owls, and (Old World-type) rabbits. There were also a goat and a witch-who-turned-into-a-raven.

The GODV books had lactils on Chad (homeworld of Kabe's race), analagous to milk cows.

Alderaan and Belsavis had pittins, analagous to kittens in some respects.

The felinx of Kuat is basically a housecat-like animal.

The tybis of Yavin 4 (and J't'p'tan) is very yak-like.

Put that with the Topato, the "Tomato, "potatoo hybrid, LOL.

I've heard there really are Topato plants on earth. The upper part of the planet bears Tomatos, the lower part bears Potatos.

why is everone sticking pictures in their posts? *dies*

Rontu's are beasts of burden that look very much like brontosaurus (or are they called apatosaurus now? I could never keep it straight in my head.)

Brontosaurus is the same creature as the Apatosaurus, but with the wrong head.

    Apatosaurus is the correct name.

    thank you for the correction.

Jacen had a crystal snake in YJK, something similar to both the iguana and some sort of poisonous snake.

And who can forget Jacen and Vergere's famous "I don't think this is the definition of help" conversation. I believe the insects they discuss are similar to cicadas and moths.

Hawkbats. What are these, to be precise?

Hawkbats are more or less like Pteradactyls, giant bat like creatures.

Doesn't Mirax give a great description of hawkbats in Wedge's Gamble?

I believe slugs and moths exist, in some form at least, because of granite slugs and shadowmoths.

The creatures from First Contact seemed like giant komodo dragons to me.

What dogs are Nashtahs like? (Maybe none, I know less than nothing about dogs.)

nashtah illustrations show six-legged reptiles nothing like earth dogs.

Rontos actually look much more like giraffes than apatosaurs. If you want to compare them to a dinosaur, a brachiosaur would be a closer match. In fact, there is a close relative of the brachiosaur named Giraffotitan (Titan Giraffe).
