Easter eggs in RotS

did any body saw any cool esater eggs

like gearge lucas in the scene where anikan run to talk to palpatine in the opera show

I could have sworn I saw the Falcon, but I could be wrong.

The falcon popping up outside the senate really did it for me...

 

I saw the Falcon too when Anakin and Obi Wan arrive back on Corrcant after the space rescue, its flying into a lower dock.

the falcon is very easy to spot in that scene ^

The Falcon made me smile.

 

I could be wrong but I swear I saw the Death Star in there somewhere.

 

I noticed that when the camera was following Anakin and Palpatine out of his office you view several tables draped with a black cloth. It looked like the cloth had the imprint of the Death Star in it, but nobody else I was with noticed it. Anyone else?

I wouldn't necessarily call it an Easter egg, maybe more of a mirror....

In one of the apartment scenes with Anakin & Padme, Anakin is standing JUST LIKE Luke when he faces Veder on Cloud City. The stance I'm talking about is hands on hips with knees locked, giving the stance a very rigid look. The ESB scene I mean is just before two ignite sabres and are silhouetted.

And to add to this, in the very next ROTS shot in the same apartment scene, the lamp behind Anakin looks like Cloud City: wide, semi-spherical top and long, slendering stand.

I like to think this was all done purposefully, I but I suppose it could've been coincidence, too. I'll see if I can find a picture of the ESB/stance scene I'm talking about.

that doesnt mean it was the Falcon, Yes cool to think it, but there were more than one YT-1300 Freighters at that time

This is the closest image I could find. The stance I'm talking about is just before this epic scence between Vader and Luke. I tell you, Anakin was standing the same way in ROTS.

 

Glad it wasn't just me who saw the Death Star-like designs on the Emperor's office furniture. Made me laugh.

The women standing with Lucas at the entrance to the Opera House is one of his daughters.

His son is the jedi teen who comes out and tries to leave the Jedi Temple with Jimmy Smits.

 

Not an easter egg more of a bad digital edit. In the Opera seen as Palps talks about the aprentice killing Darth Plagius, watch Anakin, i guess they used two takes and they faded between the two, so on a digital projection screen it looks kinda awkward.

Hey guys, first post here. I thought i'd wait till after all of the movies were out to sign up so i could actually explore the whole series without running into spoilers.

Here's something i noticed that i doubt anyone has brought up. When Anakin and Palpatine are walking out of Palpi's office, i think this is the right before Ani learns that Palpi is a sith, they're walking towards the camera and you see behind them on the arch of the entrance something like this III III III III III III . Six roman numeral groups that look exactly like how starwars.com and other sites always laid out the movies for selection.

 

So who was the EU character that was supposed to make an appearance?

 

Can someone verify: In ANH, Luke is playing with a model ship right when C3PO is getting an oil bath. That model looks alot like the Emperor's ship that he uses to go to rescue Darth Vader. I could be wrong, but from memory of ROTS, it looks pretty close.

Yep! I heard that...

 

I noticed how Yoda was saved from Palpatine much like Luke was saved from Cloud City. I liked how he dropped to the ship much like Luke dropped to the Falcon in TESB.
