Fatburt (nice name) wants suggestions for northern quarter meets etc? How about we all say which bit of the north we live in and how old we are, and then we can find mutually agreeable locations to meet up? I dunno.

I'm from Horsforth in Leeds, and am 25 and enjoy going to the pub. But that's obviously a rubbish place to meet if people are 17 or less. Also, has anyone thought about having their own marathon, a la Leicester Square (but I-VI rather than IV-VI,I-III) in time for when the DVD comes out? I have tried to set one up, but I don't really know enough hard core star wars fans who can sit down for that long. Any takers?

 

Tethys - 'Eddie' (his user name) is from Wakefield and is looking to get something going with SW/sci fi people in the Yorkshire area - worth sending him a message to ask! I know there are few people in that area so hope it may help?

It's funny, when we met in York we all had a similar scenario - yes, adults and all, but shunned for liking SW just a litle too much...it just out thang I guess. I dont do the whole 'gym and fitness' scene anyway, so this is my vice!

I did upset a local parish preist a few year's ago he's from the highlands of scotland - I said well it cant be bad we all know God is a Yorkshireman !
