I don't know about a mask, the only new Star Wars mag is the DeAgostini Star Wars figurine mag (it's been on the TV a lot the last week or so)

    Check here -

mutedwhisper - well, there is a slight problem since I am a dreaded Englander living in Southport which is North-West England (Merseyside but we were stolen from Lancashire by the Scousers ;) ). However, I can tell you I got my copy in a local Spar shop, so you may find them in a newsagent - maybe WHSmith.

    Or this place -

    Forbidden Planet Edinburgh
    40-41 Southbridge Street
    Edinburgh
    EH1 1LL
    Tel: 0131 558 8226

    http://www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk/index.php?main_page=page_2

They are a comic/mag/sci-fi specialist shop (nearest to me is Liverpool and I haven't checked recently).

Issue 1 of the mag is £1.99, but it goes up to £5 per mag, it is fortnightly btw. I have a feeling it won't have a long run however - DeAgostini (the mag makers) had a gem of a SW mag in the "Star Wars Factfile" and they stupidly stopped it before Episode III was released, they then had a great idea with the "Star Wars Battles" mag which was to tie-in with the Wizards of the Coast SW Mini game, and DeAgostini stupidly cancelled it after four issues - poor sales they said, but they tested the run on the Isle of Man!!!!! So I don't have high hopes for the third attempt since they don't seem to have a clue about SW fan needs in terms of mags.

I wasn't keen on issue 1 either, if you buy SW books anyways you have all the info in the mags, and in more detail. Not impressed with it or the figure.

Anyways, I'd recommend trying ringing Forbidden Planet first and see if they have it. Hope that helps :D

Hello, I will be traveling to Edinburgh from New York USA next week. I thought I would ask my fellow Star Wars fans if there are any places I should check out.

Note: This will be part of my honeymoon. :)

I heard the nice warm fires in the hotel rooms are good at this time off the year.
If your coming to Edinburgh then you should think off coming to easter road it has a 100,000 capacity, unfortunatly the city will be closed due to threats from local neds to tan in the shop windows and for you that means(Local youths are comin round and are going to smash the shop windows)there will be alot of fireworks on next week so a would advise you not to go out at night.

Now now, there's no need for profanity! Just because Edinburgh has never attained the titles of European City of Architecture, European City of Culture and European City of Sport that Glasgow has, you don't have to be jealous. I guess your post just goes to prove the report in some of today's newspapers that the people of Edinburgh are the second rudest in the UK after Birmingham.

I know it's not everyone in Edinburgh, I lived and worked there for the first three years of my working life and met a lot of lovely folk and had a pretty good time overall!

I was born and still live in Edinburgh, Davidson's Mains area.

We've had quite a few American friends from TF.N come and stay with us. They've all loved Edinburgh and Scotland. Can't really blame them as I do too. Even if I won the lottery I'd still live here.

    Only in a bigger house. :p ;)
