Jedi_Lover is correct, after the first round of this game, the word limit was raised. I will make that more clear when I have sign-ups for the next round.

When will that be, you ask? Well, Jedi_Lover deserves time to enjoy her colors so I will put up the sign-ups in a week.

Time for sign-ups for the next round of Edited. For those who are new to this game, it is played in 3 rounds.

Round 1 - 24 hours to write around 250 words
Round 2 - 48 hours to write around 450 words
Round 3 - 72 hours to write around 750 words

Tarsier, the judges identities are kept confidential because I do not want anyone, be they a writing participant or friend, asking the judges not to edit them or asking for details on why they were edited..

This is a friendly writing competition and I want to keep it that way. That being said, if the judges wish to have their identity revealed after the game is played, we can do that as well. But I will leave that up to the judges.

got all excited that there was an alert on this only to find that Nyota was responding :'(

Oh well, I'm quite looking forward to this... though I am fearing to a degree the idea that my use of original characters may put me at a disadvantage.

But where's the fun without challenge?

 

IMHO, OCs are da bomb. Canon characters are a crutch.

I'm going to be offline on Monday, though perhaps not all day, because the carpet installers are coming in to finish recarpeting the condo I live in. So hopefully I won't miss anything...

 

I think you should have some of Tuesday to get it done, depending on when the requirements get posted up today.
