Edmonton Edmonton Collectible Toy and Comic Show 2005 - Registration

Hey guys!

Just got an email from Shane, looks like they are starting the organizing of the 2005 show. It will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2005 from 11am-4pm at the Mayfield Inn in their Grand Ballroom.

Are we in for this one?

I'll be communing with a giant mouse so I'm afraid I'm going to miss it this year.

I'm still in... how much is it?

 

Yup, 15 days in Sunny California with Faye, Kit, Dawn, John and Matthew. I figure I'll make it about 6 days before I need Prozac.

 

Remember, Prozac takes while to take effect, so start early! lol

 

due to the fact that my days off have changed...it seems unlikely I will be able to attend now .

But I'll see if I can stop by before work since it's kinda on the way.

It should be a possibility at this point in time (at least nothing is conflicting at the moment )

 

I'll see if I can come in late that day if I'm auditing instead of training new guys it should be a go for me.

I was just thinking we should probably get some new flyer's printed up. I know you've got a whole box of the old ones John but they're for the IMAX event and that was.... awhile ago. I can chip in for them. We can add some more up-to-date info, like how long we've been around and some of the cooler things we've done (DVD opening, ForceFest, Imax too of course).

Just an idea. Let me know what you guys think.

I think it'd also be cool to have some pics there for some of these events too show people there's more to us than Star Wars.

 

I picked up some foam board months ago, intending to put together something similar to the rig I brought last year, only slightly smaller. I never got around to actually doing it though. Should I put it on my too do list?

 

Yes definately.

I was thinking of doing some small "displays" that would be a stood up cardboard sheet with some pictures attached, and then a quick blurb on a piece of paper on the table about each seperate event; kinda like a science fair without the science...

What would be really cool is if we could come up with some sort of banner to hang across the front of the table...

I am still waiting to hear back from Shane about what actual table we are getting.

 

*Hangs head sheepishly* That was on my list too. I guess I should actually finish some of these projects I plan.

 

If you guys need something designed I could make something up. And I know a few print shops that make banners for a reasonable price...

just let me know... it is a couple months away so I have some time to make it look sweet.... if you want me to.

 

Can I get everyone to send me any pictures they have of the camping trip, DVD release, ect, that I don't have. So bacically anything in the last year that isn't up on the Edmontooine site.
