Educate me on some good Black & White films

    being younger than most of you, I dont have that much knowledge on films before say 1970. I recently saw The Good German, and its really got me interested in seeing some classic old films...

    My uncle is a huge Humphrey Bogart fan, so he lent me The Maltese Falcon & The Caine Mutiny (both fantastic). Maltese Falcon (Caine wasnt black & white) was probably the best hollywood B&W I've seen...Ive seen more British b&w films, but not much America. Any good ones you guys like?
