Sounds like the delay may have been deliberate then to keep this "something else" secret, as the original release date would have taken all the mystery out of the first couple of FOTJ books.

I like that this seems to "confirm" the threat IS ancient and, um, "something elsey". I just hope this is genuinely the case as we all hope, and not actually just a fancy way of saying "somebody else", like with the the Sith Emperor or Arden Lyn.

 

The relevant quote from the back matter:

That wording definitely sounds rather different.

That doesn't sound so much like they find something but find out something.

In the current Sith obsession the EU is going through, suddenly I wouldn't be surprised if the Hapan royal family was descended from the original Sith Lords and that it was Tenel Ka who cursed Jacen.

 

My god! All these blurbs sound the same to me. "some hidden threat."

FOTJ has similar as did millennium Falcon. Come up with a new idea already!
