That is all I ask of you. Enjoy your title and colour. :)

Yeah, aren't the "President" and "Vice President" supposed to have uniform colors chosing at the start of the "campaign" process? I've noticed that KitFist0's colors are different from AT60's. Impeach!

    Amazing.

Many of the rules were changed when DarthSapient took over from The Gatherer. This is one of them. I asked DS if I'm limited to any particular colours, and he told me that I can "have fun with it"

Hmm, I did not know that. That's what you get for not paying attention.

And I'd just like to point out the integrity of the Debocratic party, who clearly did not cheat at all.

    Amazing.

Okay, xie, I think you've made your point plenty. Chill. ;)

Although I do agree in some respect with the 6-month thing. I don't beleive it should be that long.

Those were good days....yep, good days.

But AT60 did get banned. Are you saying he should be banned more?

During my ban yesterday, I took some time to try to get to the bottom of what happened. I talked to my own supporters, and KenKenobi, the runner-up. I was unable to dig up much information.

On a related note, the dealer fraud investigation being run by the Casino Owners Association has also turned up no evidence of impropriety.

I'm saying anyone who spams should be banned. Hell, even people who don't spam should be banned.

[/b]This is sooo like the real election of 2000 Bush v Gore!

    Let the votes count!

My intention from the very beginning was that the final vote, the whole forum would have the opportunity to vote.

How can person XYZ be named JC President, if everyone hasn't had the chance to vote for them![/b]

On a realistic note, and I don't mean to imply anything (especially that the winners cheated) when I say this, but do you all really expect "cheaters" to renounce their wrongdoings and step aside, or even speak up?

If I cheated, which I did not, frankly because I cared less about this election (and even then I still would not have), but if I did then I sure as hell would not have spoken up. Perhaps that is just me, though I really believe that a vast number of you would be the same way.

I'm actually surprised that some people are astonished that people cheated in the vote. I have to agree with xie and others that 6 months is a really long time to have colors for spamming, not to mention for a single game. But in the long run, does it really mattter if one has colors?

Canada only had 36 members and 200+ votes, does not matter. If only people who were officially members of a party could vote, and only vote in their party, then whichever party had the most members won right then and there.

Sorry i'm so late at getting at this thread, but i have something to say about the socks. I realize all to well that the sock making and voting is way out of the mod's control, but this is rediculous. Do you really think that over 100 people (excluding the party members) here at the JC would even really care who won the election? Heck, since it doesen't effect them, why should they even vote? So what makes everyone think it's a fair vote? I know for sure that 20% of the votes we're made by socks, and i don't even think any of the party members we're doing it, i think it was a few of the JCer's that did care doing this as a popularity contest, and thats really what it's all about, but one vote per user is 100% fair with no socks involved. My point is, using socks like this is just torturing the JC into a living ****. I mean, probably the Canadians would have won anyway, heck, if i wasn't a member to the DOA, i would've voted for them because i've talked to them both on AIM and their deserving, but should i have made a sock and voted for them? Of course not. One vote is sufficient for each member.

OK, so I just checked and there was 1128 votes in total. I highly doubt more than 200 individual people actually cared enough to vote, so I'm laying odds that 928 votes were made by socks.

This whole thing is a bigger farce than The Phantom Menace!
