Idaho Elections

Hey all! Club elections will be held in June and those serious about running for an office should plan now! If you think you'd like one of the positions offered in our by-laws, then organize now and prove your worth! Those who show real promise will undoubtedly be voted for over those who don't. I enjoy this club and want to see its future go beyond ROTS. This club won't last forever, but I can say now that I believe it may just be around for a few more years! Here's to the future! Cheers! In accordinace with the By-Laws, nominations for all club offices must be made at the march meetings. Everyone be there if you want a say in the NBO's future.

 

Those who were there had their say and I'm happy with the results with everyone. I'm curious to see what happens over the next couple of months. Well, here's the regurgitation from the Nominations thread:

I see a future for this club. I'm excited for the coming months. It's going to be sweet. Thanks to all who made this meeting! Campaigning will take place in April with Elections following in May. Those voted into their respective positions will take office in June.

Just a reminder, campaigning for offices will be held at the April Meeting. If you have been nominated you will be given a chance to tell your fellow club members why you should be elected.

 

I think campaigning at the meeting should go something like this:

1. Candidate give his thoughts on why he should be elected.

2. Other club members get to ask candidate a few questions.
