Boyega plays his lost "orphan" son (remember the Thomas/Rachel descriptions, there was a lot of growing up without family in there), and then Lando turns out to be the secret main villain in Episode 8.
Palpatine seemed pretty alive when the wipers moved him off the windshield...
I think I would prefer the only three black people in the galaxy not be related to each other.
Where do they come from!?
Watch Boyega be Lando and Leia's child and the collective internet and fandom lose their minds.
I'd like to see him in VIII. Throw in a Iittle reflection to the OT. I guess you might need a Yoda ghost, too. Still, if he were to show up in Rebels and VIII, well that's just the best case scenario.
I would enjoy it much more if Boyega was Captain Panaka's grandson as opposed to Lando's son.
Well Panaka is obviously Lando's dad so why not both?
Another article in the "What Star Wars Can Learn From" series - Arrow, in this case:
Wait until I tell Sam Jackson that you thought Mace Windu, Panaka, Typho, Lando, Boyega's character, and ice cream maker guy were three people.
Did you count the rebell juat above Han?
Pssh, those guys are all just Billy Dee Williams in different hats.
Actually, is it me or does Willrow Hood kinda look like Neil Degrasse Tyson?
Isn't that ice cream maker guy, fighting to get his ice cream maker back?
I want stories about the old bearded guy. He looks like a badass.
Surely he has a name at least by now.
I don't think I even knew what everyone else looked like until that picture above as Old Bearded Guy always drew my attention in that shot.
He is a survival expert named Nik Sant.
At least he was before the diabeetus got 'im.
Today's piece spins directly out of the last couple pages of the Diversity thread. Special thanks to

Good article but I miss the pinup girls from tCW
DR just announced on Twitter that they'll have special advance copies of A New Dawn at SDCC that include excerpts of Tarkin, HttJ, and LotS--any West Coasters interested in being ETE's official SDCC correspondent?
Gah. Need to ask ppl to hook me up.
Missa ab iPhona mea est.
That Tarkin excerpt is going to be like the Rosetta Stone of the new canon.
