Christmas is only a few weeks away, but I will be celebrating a week later, Feb. 07, on the release date of STAR WARS: Empire at War. I remember seeing a preview for the game a year ago on Cinematech (G4 Tech TV), and it has never been far from my mind. I am an avid fan of all strategy games (turn-based or otherwise), fore most of all Rome: Total War. A Star Wars empire-building game is my promised land.
I have only one concern, the speed of my computer. How much power is it going to take. From where I'm standing, after seeing the screen shots it looks like it may be the highest RAM consuming game on the markets. I can't afford an Alienware computer, not many people can so how is it going to work? And if for that reason the sales aren't very high it may discourage developers from making more STAR WARS strategy games. What's ya'lls (southern drawl) opinion?
