Empire Fan Fest (a convention)

I am most definetly going to pony up a hundred dollars.
I worked too much overtime this year not to get it.

A personalized autograph and a professional photographer will take your picture also.
Seems expensive but a rare chance to get one of the most elusive autographs of Star Wars actors.

I just wish I could get him to sign my copy of
COMIC BOOK the Movie.

 

Yeah, I registered for it. I figure it's one of those "once in a lifetime" opportunities. I just need to watch my spending until then.

Carrie have you been able to lock down any travel arrangements or hotel yet?

Hey what are people bringing? Such as food, clothing, collectibles to have signed, activities to do after show?

Speaking of which, do you think I can bring and use my own shot glass and beer stein at any of the watering holes there?

 

chris yeah i was able to secure a room to share. as for travell, i have no idea, but we'll think of something, even if we have to drive down ourselves.

as for food, clothing etc......well i am definitely bringing my jedi costume of course. hah and i don't see why you couldnt use your own shot glass

i'm not sure if i'm doing the autograph thing. they get a little pricey after a while...

oh and i was told to keep 3pm on saturday open, as there will be a fanforce event at that time.

 

Can we make an official list of whose going?

And what about name tags?
We could use some since there will be plenty of other FF members there.

as for the name tags, i will putz around with a template of some kind. i think maybe printing some blank tags and writing in your own name might be best, as the roster might change.

If you still want to sign up for the Mark Hamill signing, please do so quickly as spots are running out. There is still room for his Q & A session as well, but the signing is filling up quickly.

i have officially volunteered to paint faces for a little bit. in costume of course. i love little kids' reactions to that sort of thing...and i like painting....so the two mix well, to form.....

I am guessing Carrie will be painting a least one or two Darth Mauls. No favorites... really I swear!!

I would try but I can barely stay inside the lines as it is when I use crayons.

 

hah actually that came up when i mentioned it at work. i think i will have the maul face pattern handy...just in case

 

Carrie you rock! I think the times you are at face painting is the only time the table will be packed LOL
We dont have any other face painters for the weekend, if someone wants to help at the FF table in any way please feel free to PM me.

As far as coloring goes we will have coloring pages for people if they want to practice staying in the lines

 

I can actually have an Episode 1 coloring book possibly two to bring for the kids if you want.
I will check to see what I have and get back to you guys.

You will need crayons!!! I broke all mine in frustration.
