Just bring out the original trilogy on DVD, without the special editions so we can have some real star wars movies to watch; ya know, ones with heart and soul and not mindless cgi.

Nice to see a fair review of TPM by someone who knows what he's talking about. Good for you Empire.

    Lucas has obviously bought them.

    [face_laugh]

It's just nice to see a fair and objective review given to an excellent and highly successful film.

"The Beginning" documentary alone is worth the purchase price.

yodaschum, was that supposed to mean anything in particular?

Do you have a file on your computer called bash.txt that contains your five favorite sentences to post in JC threads? (EDIT: Yes, I know this is ironic coming from the "Rick McCallum loves you" guy.)

Talk about the TPM DVD and its relation to other summer blockbuster DVDs if you like. But there was no need to bring the OT, the SEs or the usual 'no heart, no soul, too much CGI' bon mot of yours.

"As you can see, my Jedi powers are far beyond yours. Now, back down."

It is a FACT that Rick McCallum loves you!

Rick McCallum does love you. He really f'ing loves you, dude.

I love the line about TPM being a moderate box office hit. $925m worldwide, pah! I laugh at such a figure! I pour icecubes down the vest of $925m!

    You called me a dude.

I can't believe you called me a dude. Let alone, said that Rick loves me.

DamonD, this is gonna hurt you far worse than me. (Thwap)

Dang, I feel so much better now. Drink anyone? The Bar is open.

    :)

Funny thing...my two roomates, who weren't so keen on TPM and AOTC watched them twice.

They say seen in context with AOTC, it actually IMPROVES the movie.

Hmmmm...you mean George Lucas actually knows how to make a three movie STORY arc? What are they gonna think of next.

Give me a Killians while you are up, Onie, my wonderful female friend!

`We all know that if Episode One had been as good as we all expected it to be it would have blown Titanic's box office record out of the water.'

Finally - proof at last that Citizen Kane and Vertigo are terrible.

Pity the Australian version of this mag didn't have this.

    Lukecash,

    <--- cries into her drink

I was called a DUDE! Frist, just at first, I was posting. I mean what guy calls himself Onnie?! Then, no wait it gets worse, I try to express myself in text.

Now I'm a DUDE! I feel so unloved. (sobs)

BTW, does anyone need another drink? :)

No, Spider-Man was expected by Columbia to be the highest selling DVD ever, but it isn't. It's single day record of 7 million is also disputed.
