Exactly, my point was that aside from a few shots most of the filming was done overseas. This shouldn't really be all that surprising that the tradition continues.

 

If the Jedi Order perhaps returns, I'd like to see some of it filmed in Japan, especially at some of the Samurai sites.

 

Most of Star Wars previously had a British cast and was filmed here (certainly the OT movies anyway), no reason why that can't happen again.

Well, if rumours are true it may be filming not that far from me. So I shall venture out to spot what I can were any filming to happen around here.

 

I just hope we actually see some on-location shots. It made the original films carry that much more authenticity.

All I know is if I find out they're shooting anything anywhere in California I will ride, hitchhike, or walk somewhere nearby.
