San Fran, CA "Empire" playing in Monterey with Irvin Kershner - 3/29

Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings there, but a starter seems like a cheaper thing to fix than replacing a radiator. My apologies, guys.

 

OK, with just a couple of days to go I'm tying to see if we can come to a consensus on where all 3 groups would like to meet for lunch (if they want to be part of a group lunch, no obligation... but some of us would like to get together). Also What Time - considering many need to be done early enough to change into costume (don't worry non-costumers, not all of us are wearing costumes. But for those who like to they'll have fun!)


So far I have a hunch this means meeting for lunch at a restaurant around 11:15... just waiting for some feedback

Number of People: There seem to be about 6 people from the 501st interested in meeting up, 12 in Rebel Legion (this doesn't include Rachel - but includes Matt, Dale, Me, Alison, Joan, Richard, Scott, Jessica...) then 4 or so here? Maybe 20-22 people total give or take?

Karen checked online for the restaurants nearby the theater. Out of what she found here are the places that could actually work (meaning, they are open for lunch on Sunday).

I think for some of these restaurants we'd be very wise to call in advance and make a reservation. We don't want to catch the kitchen off guard like the RL did when we went to Petaluma a few months ago (they were not ready for us and we had to wait a long time to get seated and get our food because it was just over 20 of us).

Why don't we meet at Round Table no later than 11:15 and go to a nicer place in Cannery Row for dinner?

 

Well, I would really like to go, but the only way I can would be if I could ride with Robert and Rachel. I could be at 24th & Mission BART by 10 a.m. on Sunday. Lunch at Round Table or any of the other restaurants sounds good, too.

We would not make it to meet them for lunch. It's over a 2 hour drive. But if you can make it to BART by 10 please do so.
