CT Empire Strikes Back Wampa Attack

I suspect if Kershner and Lucas had really wanted to, they could've cobbled together a cut of the film with the Wampa subplot basically intact. Lucas did this with the similarly troubled whip-vs-sword fight in Cairo in Raiders of the Lost Ark, but test audiences went wild for the improvised gag with the gun, so that was used in the final cut instead.

 

"Coming up on the Imperial Holovision Network, it's Wampa Week!"

"This... is IHN."

 

Wampa Attack should be the name of a club in downtown Dallas.
