Last meeting we talked about Empire Uncut recreating a scene from The Empire Strikes Back to add to the overall movie. I have picked a bunch of scenes containing multiple people. Take a look at them and vote on EACH and EVERYONE you think the RMFF should be involved with creating. After I pick one we have 30 days to create it and turn it in. I was thinking we could record our clips either in November or before October's meeting. I believe you can claim a scene that is already claimed. Later, they choose the one they want to use.
Is this project still alive? I think we talked about filming it at/after the October meeting...which is this Saturday.
Alright, peeps! I've decided to take the lead on this and have claimed scene 319 called "Smooth Operator." You can view the scene here (http://www.starwarsuncut.com/empire/319). It's the one where the Falcon arrives at Bespin and Lando walks up to meet them. The scene is 15 seconds and has Lando, Han Solo, Leia, Chewie and C-3PO. I'd like to plan on filming this at the Rogers' place during the November meeting. We get 30 days to upload our video, so this gives us 2 weeks of prep and the 2 weeks of editing. Should be plenty of time. Nerf, can you be our Lando since you did so well in the trailer? Any volunteers for Leia, Chewie, Han and 3PO? Perhaps Abby wants to be our Princess? There's also a Lobot in the background of the first couple of seconds, if anyone wants to just stand there. Grimby, do you have a camera and lights? I can bring those, if we need. Do you have a good way to capture sound? Courtney & Shane, would you guys be able to draw up a Falcon as our background? Doesn't have to be fancy. You can check out the web site to see what others have done. Let's make this an awesome 15 second video, RMFF! We need to be sure somebody (or everybody's) wearing RMFF logoed gear.
I can't view the scene because it's already been claimed. Is there a way to unlock it so I can see its extents? I'm not sure I can be an 'old smoothie' to a 4 year old. That's just kinda creepy.
Who has a really cheesy 3PO costume? Alas, I do not have lights. Or a camera. Or a high quality mic. If we could borrow a boom mic from someone and hook it up to a mixer, that's all we'd need for sound. If it's easier, we could always shoot it against green screen and add in the background in post. All we need is a green sheet.
I'll plan on bringing a camera, microphones and some lights. I don't have a mixer, though, but perhaps we can record several takes and then you can mix it up good, Snoop Grimby! I'll see if there if a green screen here somewhere.

Your tall enough and scruffy enough... nnay or catz or S__C, want to be Leia? Lego, want to be Lobot? You got the shiny noggin' for it. Any takers on C-3PO? Shane? Anybody else want to be Han Solo or can help with being crew? I was thinking of doing this scene in the Film Noir style. Black and White. People wearing jackets or trenchcoats, with fedoras. I was going to wear an RMFF shirt, brown leather jacket and fedora for Han. Any other thoughts? I'm totally open to suggestions.
