Fedoras and trenchcoats in a SW scene? Oh, I get it now, an Indy Jones/SW mashup... LOL OK, so all the characters dress as Indy Jones characters that corresponds with their SW characters. So, when is this fantastic filming occuring?
Yep, it's Film Noir (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_noir) and we plan on filming at the November meeting on the 17th at Shane and Courtney's house. Assuming that's okay with them and we have a space to film. A costume mash-up with whitey Lando, Indy/Han, and something with Leia and C-3PO. We'll try and plan as much as we can ahead of time, but I think we'll just be shang-hai-ing people into it the day of, since people aren't really checking in on the boards too much.
if there aren't any C3PO speaking lines, I will wear the bucket if you are still filming at the meeting. What else do I need to wear?
Well, C-3PO does have lines. Here his role: >>C-3PO: Hello, sir. I am C-3PO, human-cyborg relations. (Lando, smiling, holds his C-3PO’s hand disinterestedly, looks after Han and Leia, lets C-3PO’s hand drop and exits camera right). My facilities are at your… (Chewie also exits camera right with a rowr). If you're still willing to do the part, an RMFF shirt or a yellow top or whatever you have that says "droid" would be great!!
We can always dub the 3PO lines in later in post though, as I anticipate they probably won't be heard very well during shooting if Becca has a bucket on her head.
So, my plan is to film this scene after the meeting. I'll bring the camera, lights, green screen cloth, scripts, laptop with the scene, and a few prop/costume pieces (carpet for Chewie, Han Solo costume, C-3PO bucket head). Here's our cast: Han Solo - DWRD Lando - nerf Chewie - jomama Leia - TBD Lobot - TBD Let's make a great scene and have some fun!
I have a trench and a short top hat (I wore the top hat to the Halloween party last year). I also have cigarettes. Let me know if you want me to bring them.
That would be fabulous. I'd recommend pants as, even though C-3PO was naked, we don't expect the same from you.
