    Thanks falcon, I used some of your advice on drawing hair, which is one of the harder things to do for me.

    OMG!! Those are soooo fabulous, BIEREN!!! =D==D= Just perfect!! Boba Fett's pose is great (...is this just when Luke starts doing his "Jedi thing" on the skiff over the sarlaac...?)--I love the turned head and ready weapon; and the trooper is just plain awesome--the way you show the scuffs and scrapes that would so certainly be there on the armor is fabulous!! These are both amazing pieces--and that collage is really shaping up to be something very, very special, with all this astonishingly-good art going into it! ;) :D =D=

    :eek:=D==D=

    WOW!! Those are fabulous, BIEREN!!!! =D= I love them all (how could I NOT?!), but that one of Boba ROCKS!! The steep perspective is so dynamic--it really gives a wonderful energy to the image--and really showcases our favorite bounty hunter! Just awesome!! The droids look outstanding--love the soft sienna-tone you've bathed them in--very Tatooine! And the stark black-and-white of the Star Destroyer and the Deathstar are perfect to depict those two weapons of war... Gorgeous work--and I hope, if you're taking them to C4 to share/show, that they get a standing ovation! =D=

    Though not actually taken at C-IV, but at a Master Replica BBQ in Hollywood, these pictures are my favorite from last weekend
    the first pic is of Motti and i having a beer. You can see in the photo that Laparmenter and I had been drinking for a while and were about to discover the true meaning of the force...

    this photo is not as clear, but it is of me and David Prowse, you guessed it, having a beer...

    [face_laugh][face_laugh]

    Yeah...that was it... ;) :D [face_laugh]

    Seriously, this must have been TOO much fun! How did you end up at an after-party? You famous or something...? ;) What a gas to meet these people! Lucky you! I hope you had a fabulous time, and that a LOT of people got to look at your fantastic work (I have to ask: any bites, for a professional gig...? [face_praying] :D )!

    Hey Falcon.
    I went to the party as a guest of a friend who spends a LOT of money on Master Replica merchandize. The party was a way to thank its most valued customers and sell some knew stuff through a silent auction.

    This is a drawing of the Rancor and Doikk Na'ts of the cantina band. both characters were designed and then "performed" by Phill Tippet, an ILM creature designer, who signed the page at C-IV when it was still blank. when asked what i should draw on it, Mr. tippett suggested the Rancor, and then asked me to send a scan of it to to his company's email address so he could see the finished drawing.

    Squee!! That rancor piece is AWEsome!! =D= It reminds me of the Indian fellows playing flutes to the cobras to make them dance... **wonders what a "dancing" rancor might look like** :p Was this poor Na'ts's "swan song," just before he became lunch...? [face_laugh] Tippet must have really loved this! Great work, as always!!

    OMG, the Piett drawing is SOOOO awesome!! =D= =D= I love it--great contrasts, superb likeness (and you captured that "It's only a matter of time" dread he wore in almost every screenie, too! lol! ;) ) and b/g--and signed by the actor!! Too cool!! (You were really busy there at C4...when you weren't drinking beer with Vader, that is! LOL! [face_laugh] ;) ) How wonderful, to have all that work with the autographs--will you keep these now, or sell them? So great!

    Yeah, what were they charging for autograph tokens again? Like $35-50 depending on the celebrity rank of the person signing? I agree with the need to limit the hordes of people wanting things signed, and to clamp down on the ebay monkeys, but straight up asking for more cash I think is just a terrible way to go about it. Make it a lottery. Make it a first come first serve.

    Anyhow, some excellent new pieces Bieren. That Jango Fett / Clone Trooper image is wicked!
