Awesome fight scene
thanks guys, for commenting. I would also like to thank EveyLou and Your_Worshipfulness for helping me find a good reference image for the Ithorian.
Down with the Jedi.........
Wow!! That looks fantastic!! And yet another scene we didn't get to see: Grievous battling more than one Jedi! I love the poses of all the figures, but most especially that of the Ithorian Jedi--you've made what might appear to be a rather lumbering figure look postively light on his feet! Wonderful job!
i am glad it helped
Merry Christmas eveyone, and happy Life Day.
I was drawing this picture and could not think of a satisfying way to finish it, so I decided to ask if anyone here has a good caption idea for this image from ANH.
"Now let's try not to get into another 'who's lightsaber is bigger' contest. And remember, Obi-Wan, stick to the script, you're supposed to DIE. Enough of the ad-lib in trying to take off Vader's head."
(Don't know how funny that is, but I tried...)
Great pic! I like the blocked-in color in the background and nice representation of GL
He is probably saying, "We are running low on film, so Alec, just let David chop you in half and we will call it a wrap."
LOL I like that one AG88!
awesome work as usual
I thought of
"Cuuuutttttt. . . . . now David"
i think your art is better than my sense of humour
Faster, More Intense!!!!
**picks self up off floor**
Ah, Nidrail--our minds think too much alike, lol! My offering exactly: what Carrie Fisher always said was his only direction: "Faster, and more intense!"
And BIEREN--it's a wonderful cartoony likeness of Lucas! Love the entire piece!
Nidrail, that was exactly what I was thinking
LOL FF! It was more than Carrie--Mark Hammill, Harrison Ford & Anthony Daniels too all said that was his favorite thing to say after a scene.
I'm glad it could be of some help
God bless you all!
This is a WIP, I haven?t finished it---just can?t figure out what to do here. Any suggestions would be great. Like the title say?s it?s of Boba Fett delivering Han Solo to Jabba the Hutt.
You know, for me anyway, this looks about done--I can only think of a couple of things you might add, and they'd be relatively extraneous either way (maybe add Bib Fortuna, leaning over Jabba's shoulder and leering, or perhaps Oola, tucked into the curve of Jabba's tail, her morose gaze on the carbonite slab...). Really, the essence of the moment is here already, and it doesn't need much more, IMHO. Geez, I love the technique you use to paint these--it looks soooo kewl! Another "unseen moment" brought to view!
I just love your artwork and this piece is just as awesome

first Vader, and now 3p0?? SCARY!
GREAT job. very nice.
That's really great, BIEREN, and yet, really scary at the same time. Nice job!
Awesome!! This looks great! And all that gold certainly lends itself to the medium of expression, so to speak! Hmmm...it makes me wonder what sort of monument to C-3PO's image the Ewoks might have had, and what a great reaction this would garner from the little furballs! LOL! Great work, BIEREN!!
love it looks awesome great job
Nidrail and hansolo29, thanks I guess scary is good.
Falcon, I was thinking about incorporating ewoks into this someway, but I couldn't quite figure out how to.
"I was thinking about incorporating ewoks into this someway, but I couldn't quite figure out how to."
I guess I wasn't so much thinking the Ewoks should be in the painting as what their reaction might be to a sculpture/monument such as this (I have an overactive imagination, and it runs away sometimes, inspired by the artwork I look at! )! As a scene (in my head, anyway), it's pretty funny! It's a great piece!
I was actually thinking of several Ewoks carrying a golden sarcophagus of Tut/C-3PO, but it just got too complicated, i do have to work every now and then.
