    I don't know if I'll ever make it there, but it's on the short list of international locales I'd love to visit.

    London is not lovely and pretty. But then I'm a country bumpkin and dislike large urban area's a prefer open fields and woodlands.

    God I hate living in Manchester

    I keep an eye on what's happening in the Premiership but I live near Oldham so I go and watch them live and as I'm from Cumbria and grew up in the south of the Lake District my nearest team was Barrow and I support them as a result.

    BTW, Levy's offer for Berahino was about right but the first payment was insulting.

    I've been fortunate enough to have visited London several times. I love the city especially with all the "look left" signs on the street for the non-locals.

    Maybe when the Lakers move there you can watch a game there? It would justify the travel expense. :p

    He tells the BBC that as a "novelty tool" it is not his responsibility to check who is buying it or what it will be used for.
    "Who are we to deny individuals the ability own a product?" he says. "We don't assume everyone is a criminal

    London looks like it's shattering under the weight of its own history and dissolving under the constant rain. And yes, that's a good thing.

    Having worked at a visitor information centre, I feel very comfortable saying that I had more rude European tourists to deal with than I did rude American tourists. That being said, part of this* could be because there's a local population of rude Polish Canadians.

    * - most of this

    If you roomed with me, it'd be $550 a month, tops. Individual apartments where I'm at are around $1400/1500 for a decent place.

    But it is also quite wonderful. I saw a few V2 types protesting probably nothing important at the national gallery today but no store clerk - pronounced "clark", dear Americans - has interest in conversation. It is pure commerce, and I love it.

    Not enough Prets though. Only 1 per block.

    In London, you're never more than six feet away from one

    Breadcrumb navigating were you? Cool story, Hansel.

    Pret aren't so bad. They give their leftovers to the homeless, so they score a few positive points.

    What's your plans between now and Saturday?

    Have you done any fine dining, or was the pull of the ready made sandwich too strong?
