Have pity. They park their autos in a "driveway" and then drive them on a "parkway".

Hey, a fortnight is eight days. I read Harry Potter.

No zebras around here despite our subsaharan Africa-type weather, so no zebra crossings.

Yes, she is being serious. Absolutely shocking, isn't it? And a mod at that!

And forget Zebra Crossings, they don't even call Pelican Crossings Pelican Crossings.

You know, I don't know what to say to that 'food'

But, at the same time, I'm not surprised. Really not.

That's at the same level as hot dog crusted pizza.

See also: why our life expectancy is declining.

That is a scone. And why on Earth is there meat in it?!! This violates the very fabric of civilisation! Scones are to be served fresh out of the oven with butter and jam. Or clotted cream.

Have you never experienced the wonders of afternoon tea? Scones and finger sandwiches?

    *weeps into hands*

Is this why Ender Sai gets so angry?

It's a nice fluffy biscuit with delicious sausage in between. But we also put butter and jam on our biscuits too.
