Youngling Etain watched as the others were killed. One down, two, three, five, twenty, thirty, younglings down with Anakin's power. Etain opened her lightsaber and the emerald blade sliced at Anakin.
Anakin blocked the attack and he spun his blade around, right into the girl's leg. "Ouch!" Etain screamed and dropped. As Anakin looked at her struggling body, Etain had time to run. Even though her legs burned, she ran.
As she reached the library, she saw bodies littered on the ground. She sniffeled back a tear and kept going. Right before she walked out the door, a moan came from behind her. She looked to see a two year old laying on the ground, a blaster burn on her arm.
Etain ran over to the child and pulled her up. The child cooed when it felt Etain's blond hair tickle her face. Etain grabbed the baby and ran down a hallway. She turned to see the Gardens. Inside, more bodies littered the ground. Suddenly a voice sent chills up Etain's back. "Shhhhh!" a voice said, followed by youngling voices.
Etain saw a girl, Bene, and ten younglings come around a corner. 'Etain?" Bene said and ran at her friend the two embraced and then they looked at the bodies.
"We must leave!" Etain said and started to run but Bene said,"We must not leave. We must find "The Blind One" these younglings speak of." "You mean Ranner?" Etain said but they both were stopped at the sound of clone troopers.
Clone troopers rounded the corner and jumped in suprise of the jedi. "All jedi must be eliminated!" one said and pulled his gun up.
"Younglings, behind me!" Etain screamed and tried to block the attacks. Even though the younglings were Etain's age, Etain made herself a leader.
Before Etain could block, the blasterbolts swarmed around the girl and her body dropped down the violets. Without protection, the other younglings went down to the ground by blastershots. Bene screamed as the blasterbolts swarmed of her lightsaber and into her. All of the jedi laid on the petals, dead.
