Someone in one of my LiveJournal communites posted download links for English versions of the Japanese manga for Episodes I, IV, V, and VI. What I've seen so far has cracked me up... Luke with BIG surprise eyes is hilarious. [face_laugh]

If anyone's interested in getting the links to have your own copy, PM me and I'll pass them onto you. If you'd rather just have them burned to a cd in data form, I'll gladly bring it along to the next meeting for you.

o.o Wow. This is pure gold right here.

If the manga deals with Jar Jar like that all the way through, I just might have to give it a read.

I've always wanted to read the manga versions. I've read the comic versions of most of the movies, and I've read all the movie novels except for ROTS (which I'll read soon), but not any of the mangas. Hmm...

    ok, old age is winning,

I had to go look up what....Manga....actually meant,
as I have never heard of it before,

    and so,

will now be looking for the Star Wars stuff of this,
    in any language:)

It's amazing how comments by outsiders almost always kill threads on the spot in here.

    Hi Xereau :)

ref killing a thread.....I was hopeful that it was our combined efforts,

but really, very cool to know someone has an entire set of something Star Wars,
    that I know....uh...nothing about

I would ask that you keep me in mind on this stuff, but then we would both
have to remember a lot, as I am very out side.....or am from
the far Northern suburgs of Chicago.

But then, I will be down roaming the streets of Bloomington, during
    IU homecoming weekend.

Yikes, I just realized, if this thread now dies, then I am the last poster,

oh dear, oh me oh my.......what should I do:)

ps, this poor attempt at humor brought to you by severe boredom at
where I work. take care everyone.
