I tell you what it seems to be like a war zone everywhere on the boards people are starting to snap over things going on in america they all seem to be turning to the dark side. I think I may just go into hibernation until its safe to come out.

I think I'd snap if I lived in New Orleans, the aid package has taken far too long to be put together, did you see those poor old people in that car who'd not eaten for 4 days and were starving... heartbreaking stuff.

Seems it took a dive in Mr Bush's popularity to make him realise something needed to be done, I seriously wonder what planet that guy is on sometimes.

I think everyone is feeling snappy at the moment the world over though...

    *sings*

    Silence is golden, golden......

    A Duranie !

    /me shakes his head

I was forced to listen to THAT band by my elder brother, I was more of a Depeche Mode, Heaven 17, A.B.C., Visage kind of chap myself, until I found the true meaning of music, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Jimi Hendrix so on and so forth. . . . .

I must admit to having a similar experience with my father, I went through a very dark phase that culminated in me doing the Brandon Lee,'Crow'thing but i never did the frilly shirts and looking like a pirate thing.

Thank you. Someone else who understands[face_dancing]
I'm sorry to say this, but they're way too old now. I saw them on their reunion tour, and they were utter cr*p.

And I never did wear the frilly shirts ...

they are good entertainment, and bring back happy memories. To be honest I'm only going to the Xmas shows to see all my mates, its the social scene that attracts me now days as opposed to the band. In January we were in a pub before they did the Radio 2 gig and they all got out their cars out side the pub away from the durantards down the street Q-ing.

WE were called bad fans because we didnt run out the pub and mob them, instead we banged on the window, got their attention, held our pints up and shouted there was no way wew were going outside as it was bloody freezing.

I'm doing NEC, Manchester and Earlscourt in December, but not Glasgow as i cant afford it.
