    What about Captain Plikk?

    http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Plikk

There was also Captain Zeta Traal:

    http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Zeta_Traal

but, while an "Imperial officer" she was in the Diplomatic Corps, not the Army or Navy.

    Description:
    1. High Admiral Betl Oxtroe
One of the few women to achieve a flag rank in the intensely misogynistic New Order, Betl Oxtroe began her career assisting in the suppression of several Separatist holdout worlds in the outer rim, in the formative years of the Empire. Later serving with Grand Admiral Grunger to defeat the short lived rebellion of the world of Naboo, she met the young Grand-niece of the Emperor, Ederlathh Pallopides, who later joined Oxtroe’s household on Coruscant. Oxtroe commanded the Pride of Tarlandia at the Battle of Endor, and watched first hand as the Rebellion crushed the Imperial Fleet there. Defeated again and again as Imperial fortress worlds fell or defected to the fledgling New Republic, Oxtroe has emerged as the leader of a prominent peace faction, supporting the cessation of hostilities, and the imposition of the young Ederlathh Pallopides as a figurehead ruler of a constitutional monarchy.
    2. Sate Pestage
The long-time right-hand man of Palpatine, since his days on Naboo, Sate Pestage was one of few privy to then Chancellor Palpatine’s dual identity as both leader of the Galactic Republic and as the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Pestage was the intermediary between Sidious (and Count Dooku and Darth Maul) and the various corporate, criminal, and mystic organizations that allowed the rise of the Galactic Empire. After the end of the Clone Wars, Pestage was appointed as Grand Vizier of the Empire, in charge of most of the day to day affairs while the Emperor schemed and plotted. One of the few prominent foes to Grand Moff Tarkin’s Death Star initiative, he was subsequently vindicated after the critical defeat at the Battle of Yavin, and was able to promote many of his supporters into prominent roles in the power vacuum after the Death Star’s destruction. After the Death Star’s destruction, he was the de facto ruler for a few critical days until the Fleet regrouped, a position he seeks to reassert once more as he and the Imperial bureaucracy he controls attempts to maintain power. Even so, he has made several crucial foes in Intelligence chief Ysanne Isard and Grand Moff Tarkin’s successor Ardus Kaine.
    3. Ars Dangor
Like Sate Pestage, Ars Dangor was a long-term aide of the Emperor, beginning in the office of the Senator from Naboo. He was the one who crafted then-Senator Palpatine’s speeches, and was the author of the famous Declaration of the New Order proclaiming the creation of the Empire A talented and charismatic public speaker, Dangor was the face of the Empire where Vader was the fist, and Pestage the hand. Dangor vied for power with Pestage, warring to assume control of the Imperial Bureaucracy. While Pestage was able to succeed in taking control of that branch, Dangor was able to make a critical victory of his own – the Resurrected Clone Emperor, reborn on the Deep Core world of Byss, secretly made contact with Dangor.
    4. Valles Santhe
Valles Santhe, director of the Santhe Corporation and its subsidiary, Sienar Fleet Systems, is the CEO of the most powerful Corporation in Imperial Space. Sienar produces the endless waves of TIE-type fighters that make up the backbone of the Imperial Starfighter Corps, ranging from advanced Defender starfighters to the twin-hulled bombers. SFS also produces the critical reactor cores that power the Star Destroyers of the Imperial Fleet and the walkers of the Imperial Army. Valles Santhe took over control of the company after the assassination of its former CEO, reforming and restructuring the company. SFS has made a killing off the chaos of the Galactic Civil War – every Imperial defeat just means that more and more TIE fighters are needed for the Imperial war machine. Santhe remains an important wild card in the current war for succession – whosever has control of SFS has an important element in control of the Imperial Navy.
    5. Director Ysanne Isard
The Director of Imperial Intelligence, Isard began her career in the Old Republic’s Senate Bureau of Intelligence, assisting her father Armand in hunting down what few Jedi had survived the end of the Clone Wars. Training with High Inquisitor Tremayne, she proved to be incredibly ambitious, leading a ‘dagger and fist’ squad in crushing burgeoning rebel cells. Blaming the theft of the Death Star plans on her own father, Ysanne ascended to the position of the head of the Imperial Intelligence. She became well-known for her brutal effectiveness, famously massacring the celebrating crowds in the plazas of Coruscant, and capturing the rebel general Jan Dodonna in the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin. A deadly rival of Pestage for control of Coruscant and the rest of the Empire, Isard is ruthless in disappearing her foes. She has a secret weapon, as well: the hidden underground prison Lusankaya is secretly a Super Star Destroyer buried underneath layers of Coruscanti skyline.
    6. Grand Moff Bertroff Hissa
One of the few non-humans in the xenophobic Imperial government, Hissa began a long career in the Empire after a chance meeting with then-Commander Panaka. After together fighting off an incursion by an extradimensional species, Hissa eventually was appointed as the Grand Moff of the Kessel system. Hissa managed to overcome extreme amounts of prejudice to reach that post, but with the aid of Moff Panaka rose to his current post. Still, he made several key enemies, most prominently Grand Moff Rufaan Tigellinus of the Core Worlds. Meeting the alleged son of the Emperor, the three-eyed mutant slavelord Trioculus, Hissa attempts to put Trioculus on the throne . . . with him the power behind it.
    7. Moff Panaka
Quarsh Panaka has a long history of service to the New Order. Beginning his career as security chief to the Queen of Naboo, he was critical in the defeat of the Trade Federation’s invasion of Naboo, and in the ascension of Queen Amidala to the position of Senator of the Chommel Sector. He rose with the aegis of his sponsor, Senator Palpatine, and the avid militarist was vindicated by the beginning of the Clone Wars. Made Moff of the Chommel Sector by Emperor Palpatine, Panaka remained extremely loyal to Emperor Palpatine, and Naboo remained in the Imperial camp despite extreme diplomatic efforts by Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan. Panaka instinctively has gravitated towards the heirs of Palpatine for leadership, but with multiple claimants for that title, no one is quite sure which camp he will enter.
    8. Grand Admiral Octavian Grant
An aristocratic blueblood in every sense of the word, Octavian Grant believes himself better then everyone in the Imperial Court. A firm believer in the racist Human High Culture, Grant began service in the Clone Wars, fighting against the Separatists, where he was appointed Moff of the Tapani sector. There, he won renown defeating several large pirate groups in Tapani, and famously mopped up the remains of the Trade Federation fleet at the Battle of the Five Veils Route. Appointed as one of the twelve Grand Admirals by Emperor Palpatine himself, Grant remained in the background where the more flamboyant admirals like Tigellinus or Makati craved attention. Largely avoiding politics or media attention, Grant has been quietly encouraging his old friend Ardus Kaine to take the position of Emperor.
    9. Grand Admiral Danneta Pitta
A rabid xenophobe, Grand Admiral Danneta Pitta is one of the most fervent proponents of the humanocentric elements of the Empire, to a point that even the COMPNOR officials balked. This is partially to cover-up the fact that he himself has mixed heritage, with an Etti ancestor in his family tree. Taking advantage of the chaos following the death of the Emperor, Pitta assumed control as the unofficial protector of the Corellian Sector, assisting the Diktat of Corellia in keeping the non-humans of Corellia under the Imperial thumb. Commanding three Imperial Dungeon Ships, Pitta is a fierce foe of both Director of Intelligence Isard and Grand Admiral Josef Grunger.
    10. Grand Admiral Ishin Il-Raz
Ishin Il-Raz is a fanatic. Beginning his career in government as leader of the youth branch of then-Chancellor Palpatine’s political organization. Fiercely patriotic, he remained loyal to Palpatine even after the dissolution of the Old Republic. Founder of the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order (COMPNOR), which institutionalized much of the xenophobia and misogyny of the Empire, Il-Raz proved to be a powerful public speaker and fierce Imperial patriot. Impressing the Emperor with his dedication and fanaticism, he was appointed as one of the twelve Grand Admirals two years after the Battle of Yavin. Though this promotion was heavily criticized by the Coruscanti elite, Il-Raz unleashed a series of military atrocities in order to win favor in the eyes of his idol Palpatine. Incredibly depressed after the death of the Emperor, Il-Raz seeks to use the remnants of COMPNOR to maintain the Emperor’s ideals.
    11. Admiral Natasi Daala
A long time confidant of the late Grand Moff Tarkin, Admiral Daala was, like Admiral Oxtroe among the first female Admirals in the misogynistic Empire. Graduating the military academy on Cardia, she was assigned as an aid to Tarkin, Impressing the Grand Moff, Daala was appointed as the head of the Maw Installation, a superweapon research facility hidden among a nest of black holes. There, she oversaw the creation of the World Devestators, Sun Crusher, and Death Star prototype, those as of this conference none of those are readily operational. Though she occasionally left the Maw to conference with Grand Moff Tarkin, Daala largely remained inside the Maw, protecting the researchers there from her flagship Gorgon.
    12. Grand Moff Ardus Kaine
The unambitious son of an ambitious father, Ardus Kaine is one of the most powerful men in the Empire. A noted public speaker, Kaine was one of the early supporters of the militarism of Chancellor Palpatine, and was a crucial administrator in the restructuring of the Republic into the Empire. Though he worked with Il-Raz and Greejatus to found COMPNOR, his allegiance to the sexism and xenophobia of the Empire is nominal at best. Successor to the post of Grand Moff Tarkin, Kaine is in nominal command of the entire Outer Rim, and has under his command the Super Star Destroyer Reaper. While viewed by many, including Grand Admiral Grant and many of the businesses in the Imperial aegis, as a worthy successor to the Emperor, Kaine is content. He nurses a bloody feud with Ennix Devian.
    13. Lumiya
The Dark Lady of the Sith, Lumiya, began her career as spy for the Rebellion, having been personally indoctrinated by Vader and Palpatine in the ways of the Sith and of the Empire. Beginning a relationship with Rebellion hero Luke Skywalker under the code-name Shira Brie. Revealed as a spy, Lumiya was shot down and heavily injured. She was rebuilt with cybernetic implants, and trained as an acolyte in the Dark Side of the Force, serving the Emperor as one of his hands. With the death of the Emperor, Lumiya has emerged as the defacto leader of the Dark Side acolytes, though she remains a rival of Tremayne’s inquisitors. With the power of the dark side, and allies in the extragalactic alien Nagai, Lumiya seeks to take the Imperial throne as the rightful heir of the Emperor.
    14. Finance Minister Gahg
The long-time master of the Imperial Bureau of Finance, Gahg began as Mas Amedda’s personal secretary, slowly ascending into a critical position in the Imperial bureaucracy. Gahg led the nationalization of the Separatist megacorporations and the formation of the Corporate Sector, and was the critical agent in funding the creation of the Death Star. Having influence over the many, many Imperial aligned companies, Gahg is extremely – almost strangely – nondescript in his home life.
    15. Carnor Jax
Carnor Jax is the head of the elite Royal Guards, the bodyguards and protectors of the Emperor. Titled Imperial Sovereign Protector, Jax served with distinction, beginning as a mere trainee on Yinchorr. He ascended the ranks of the Royal Guards, and after the death of the Emperor protected the leaders of the Imperial bureaucracy on Coruscant. Unbeknownst to those he protects, however, Carnor Jax is the secret apprentice of the Dark Lady Lumiya, trained in the powers of the Dark Side of the Force. Scheming both to remove the Imperial Bureaucracy – whom he views as a group of sycophantic incompetents – and to seat Lumiya, and then himself, on the Imperial Throne, Carnor Jax is also a deadly personal combatant.
    16. Sarcev Quest
A member of Emperor Palpatine’s elite cadre of force-using ‘Emperor’s Hands,’ Sarcev Quest began his career as a failing apprentice in the Jedi Order. Assigned to work in the Agricultural Corps, he was selected by then-Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to serve as his personal operative. Though not seen at Palpatine’s side, he performed research and sorcery on the Deep Core throneworld of Byss. After the formation of the Empire, he returned to Coruscant, joining the Imperial Court where he created a reputation as a playboy even while spying on other Imperial notables. Cultivating a close relationship with fellow courtier Roganda Ismaren, they were the ones behind the disappearance of many of the advisors of the Emperor who proved less then loyal. While ostensibly an ally of Carnor Jax and Lumiya, he is also intensely jealous of the pair, whom he views as a pair of stuck up fools with a very high opinion of themselves.
    17. High Inquisitor Antinnis Tremayne
High Inquisitor Antinnis Tremayne had an ignominious service in the Clone Wars, where as a Jedi Padawan he was swiftly captured after his clone unit was defeated. After the destruction of the Jedi Order at the end of the Clone Wars, he was taken with other Jedi captives to the Deep Core world of Byss. Turned to the Dark Side with three of his fellow captives by Darth Vader, they formed the core of the Jedi-hunting Inquisitorius. Working closely with first Armand and then Ysanne Isard, his organization eradicated much of the survivors of that order, along with recruiting many of the Dark Side adepts in the Emperor’s service. Vain and hedonistic, Tremayne has no allegiance of his own, instead working to advance the cause of whomever can help him the most.
    18. Mas Amedda
Unlike many of the other members of the Imperial bureaucracy, Mas Amedda is neither a human nor a former staffer for Senator Palpatine. Hailing from the water world of Champala, Mas Amedda was elected to the senate on behalf of that world. Later ascending to the position of Vice Chancellor under then-Chancellor Valorum (thanks to the machinations of Palpatine’s Sith master Plagueis), Amedda was one of the few to independently discover the true identity of Senator Palpatine. Retaining his position in the Palpatine administration, Amedda was at his side when the Empire was formed. Unfortunately, the Chagrian lost power as the Empire coalesced, with the New Order’s rabid xenophobia working against him. With his position as Vice Chancellor now defunct, and many of his former functions now taken by Sate Pestage and Ars Dangor, he was relegated to fetching relics. That said, he stands in a unique position: as one of the few remaining symbols of the Old Republic, he is more than anyone a symbol of legitimacy and good government across the galaxy.
    19. Grand Admiral Josef Grunger
While a highly regarded strategist, Josef Grunger was a rather ordinary member of the Imperial Navy for most of his career, with little to distinguish him from his fellow captains and admirals. It came as a surprise to the talking heads of the Imperial News service, then, when he was one of twelve personally selected by the Emperor himself to become a Grand Admiral, two years after the destruction of the first Death Star. After his promotion, however, his star skyrocketed, with him taking control of the Super Star Destroyer Aggressor and assigned to pacify the Mandalore sector. In the course of that task, he assembled the largest personal taskforce in the Empire – thirty Star Destroyers, and over a hundred and fifty smaller capital ships. At this point maintaining only a tenuous allegiance to the Empire, Grunger strongly believes that he deserves to rule. Anyone who disagrees is welcome to bring that up to his Super Star Destroyer
    20. Admiral Leonia Tavira
Skyrocketing through the ranks of the Imperial Government and navy, Leonia Tavira is the youngest person to achieve the rank of Moff in Imperial history. Ascending from an impoverished background, she married the Moff of Eiattu, then took his position after his mysterious and totally accidental death. While ousted from Eiattu by the Rebel commandos of Rogue Squadron, she recovered masterfully, working at different points for Intelligence Director Ysanne Isard and Grand Vizier Sate Pestage. Gaining control of the Star Destroyer Invidious, she assembled a coalition of pirates and raiders to harass New Republic shipping to great effect. More importantly, however, while operating from the Invidious, she discovered the force-using sect known as the ‘Jensaari,’ and coerced them into her service.
    21. Grand Moff Rufaan Tigellinus
A social climber and intriguer rather than a military man, Rufaan Tigellinus is the only person in the Empire to hold both the titles of Grand Admiral and Grand Moff at the same time. Winning acclaim for a very well publicized campaign against pirates, Tigellinus was a common fixture in the Imperial Court on Coruscant. Rapidly ascending the Imperial power structure, Tigellinus was inducted into the ancient secret society called the Order of the Canted Circle. Present at a number of social events – including the unveiling of the Super Star Destroyer Executor – Tigellinus was among the twelve Grand Admirals of the Empire, and parlayed that position into being appointed the Grand Moff of the Imperial Center Oversector, which included Coruscant itself. A fervent foe of Grand Moff Hissa, Tigellinus is viewed by many on Coruscant as a natural leader of the Empire.
    22. Shea Hublin
A famous pilot, Shea Hublin lied about his age to enlist in the Republic army at the end of the Clone Wars. While said war died before he was able to serve, he eagerly fought for the Republic’s successor, the Galactic Empire. Rapidly jumping through the ranks, he quickly was appointed to command of the 77th Air Wing, fighting alongside Grand Moff Tarkin at the battle of Kelrodo-Ai. Made famous by a Holonet Film – The Guns of Kelrodo-Ai – Hublin became an Imperial hero, rich and famous across the galaxy. From his adopted homeworld of Eriadu, Hublin fought valiantly against the Rebel Alliance, earning the epithet of ‘Rebel Destroyer’ by the Imperial media.
    23. Lira Wessex
The symbols of Imperial power are well-known across the Galaxy – the triangular dagger-shapes of Imperial Star Destroyers, cutting invincibly across the sky to devastate whosoever stands against the Empire. Lira Wessex, and her corporate holdings in Kuat Drive Yards, are behind that. The genius inventor and designed behind the Imperial class Star Destroyer, and the Executor class Super Star Destroyers, Wessex has a fierce rivalry with her father, Walex Blissex, a Republic-era ship designer who defected to the Rebel Alliance. Fiercely independent, and used to being obeyed, getting the allegiance of Wessex and KDY is an element of any Imperial claimants plans.
    24. Grand Admiral Afsheen Makati
One of the twelve Grand Admirals of the Empire, Afsheen Makati has no ambitions for the throne himself, but is loyal instead to whomever it is that controls the world of Coruscant. Makati lacked a famed military career of his own before his promotion to Grand Admiral, and even after wasn’t that visible on the radar of either Rebel planners or Imperial courtiers. Working closely with Director of Imperial Intelligence Ysanne Isard, he purged disloyal Imperial elements from the bridge of the Star Destroyer Steadfast. Present on the Death Star at the battle of Endor, he barely escaped that station’s destruction, fleeing to Coruscant and awaiting instructions from whosoever took up the title of Emperor.
    25. Fleet Admiral Gaen Drommel
A self-important blowhard, Gaen Drommel has a very high opinion of himself. He’s the only one. After a misguided attempt by Grand Moff Tarkin to take Drommel under his wing, he floated around the middling ranks of the Imperial Navy for years, accomplishing little and impressing no one. Pulling on his strings from his days working for Tarkin, Drommel managed to be promoted to captain of the Super Star Destroyer Guardian mere days before the destruction of the Death Star and the death of the Emperor.
    26. Soontir Fel
Soontir Fel is the Empire’s poster boy. Literally: he’s on posters. Fel was the son of a farmer on Corellia until he managed to wrangle a scholarship to the Imperial Academy. Excelling at his studies, Fel outperformed every one of his classmates, except for a fellow Corellian: Han Solo. Graduating for the academy, he served with distinction as a pilot, and then a wing commander, turning the 181st Flight Group from one of the worst in the Empire to its finest. It was at that point that he married the holofilm star Wynssa Starflare – the sister of famed Rebel pilot Wedge Antilles. Soon earning the enmity of Intelligence Director Isard, he was attached to Darth Vader’s Death Squadron, fighting valiantly at the Battle of Endor even after the destruction of the Death Star.
    27. Blitzer Harrsk
Considered one of the foremost strategists in the Empire, Blitzer Harrsk commanded Arrowhead Command, an elite force of Star Destroyers assigned to defend the Core Worlds, from the bridge of his Star Destroyer Whirlwind. Winning distinction and honor, Harrsk was contacted by his old friend Firmus Piett, who commanded Darth Vader’s Super Star Destroyer, who requested Harrsk to join him at the ambush of the Rebel Fleet at Endor. After the Death Star’s destruction, Harrsk was heavily injured, and his ships were forced to retreat after his injury. Now unhinged and unpredictable, no one on Coruscant is sure how he will react next.
    28. Janus Greejatus
One of Palpatine’s Dark Side Adepts, Janus Greejatus worked with Palpatine ever since his days as an official on Naboo. While rabidly chauvinist and xenophobic, he was able to create a political following that helped elect Palpatine Senator, and along with Sate Pestage was one of the crucial behind the scenes actors in Palpatine’s election as chancellor. After the creation of the Empire, Greejatus assisted Ardus Kaine and Ishin-Il-Raz in founding the Committee for the Preservation of the New Order (COMPNOR), and was a close advisor of the Emperor. Present on the Death Star at Endor, Greejatus barely escaped in the chaos after the death of Palpatine.
    29. Roganda Ismaren
An Alderaanian, Roganda Ismaren was selected to join the Jedi Order in the twilight days of the Clone Wars, just barely escaped the death of the Jedi at that point. Escaping with a group of Jedi initiates, she was captured by the Emperor’s soldiers, and indoctrinated by the Imperial Inquisition. Becoming a fixture at the Imperial Court, Ismaren worked closely with Sarcev Quest for their mutual benefit. Ismaren eventually had a son, Irek, who she insinuated was the son of Palpatine himself. Cunning and subtle, Ismaren is avid on making herself the ultimate power in the Empire.
    30. Ennix Devian
Ennix Devian is a thug. Trained by Darth Vader himself, Devian was employed as a hitman, and fought one on one with a series of other darksiders – Antiniss Tremayne and Carnor Jax, most prominently -- to prove himself. Attracting a coeterie of hardliners, he is fervently against any peace talks whatsoever, and nurses a personal grudge against Ardus Kaine.

Said giant list of positions, if anyone is interested. A few canon-tweaks, mainly cause I ran out of people. So Blitzer Harrsk and Janus Greejatus are at the table.

I am surprised Barriss_Coffee has not commented on this thread yet knowing her love for obscure characters.

I have not gotten into stuff like WEG and the like so I do not have to many uber obscure things to pull from. But yeah minor characters I love more than one would expect:

    Ferus Olin
    [IMG]
I grew up on the Last of the Jedi novels and Ferus very well may have been the first fully EU character I loved. Very very underrated.

    Jerjerrod
    [IMG]
Ever since I saw the deleted scenes with him, he has become my favorite Imp character. The fact that he was on the verge of breaking at the idea of killing his own men showed a level of depth that no other Imp got in the OT.

    Owen Lars
    [IMG]
I love Owen. He is very stern and gruff but clearly cares about Luke and with the hindsight all of his scenes are even more relatable. I just really like how he is really just a not very trusting guy who wants to protect his family from harm. I really relate to him and a lot of stories that he is in that are non canon (an issue of SW Tales and Old Wounds) really show how much he cares for Luke.

    Coleman Kcaj
    [IMG]
He says nothing, he does nothing, he may as well be a potted plant, but I love him. I like Ongree and want to know what the heck is up with him SO badly.

The big one, my favorite Jedi character ever
    Tallisibeth Enwandung Esterhazy
    [IMG]
I would not say I like Scout unreasonably but I do like her more than 99% of SW fans. Scout is just awesome. She is essentially a runt FS wise and arguably should not even be a Jedi. To the point that many wanted to cart her off to the Agricultural Corps. However she made up for her lack of Force strength through doing anything she could to be a better duelist. Pushing herself to the extreme and matching those with far more force potential. Scout went as far as to grab training sabers with her bare hands (burning the skin terribly) in order to win and prove herself. I just love how determined she is and how she will push herself to an extreme and prep to an insane degree in order to win. Reminds me of Batman a bit but even more of Tim Drake which if you know me, you know that that is high praise.

The other thing is that she is just really likable. She is not whiny about being thought of as not worthy to be a Jedi, but relate-ably is annoyed at that fact but actually tries to do something about it and prove herself rather than mope. Her friendship with the droid character and their little game of wit is great. Overall I just really loved the character. Glad to know she survived Order 66 even if she ended up being in one of the travvis Mandosue novels. Though I do love that she does not become a Mando. she did everything she could and succeeded in becoming a Jedi and as we see in dark rendezvous, holds the Jedi ideals in high regard so there is not way in heck she will trade her Jedi beliefs for anything else.

Oh and she was retconned to being Ahsoka's best friend at the temple so that is really cool!!!

Hey nice to see another Scout fan!

    Darth Vectivus.

A Sith that actually controls himself and doesn't let his power control him. Pretty much had everything one would want. He had his cake and ate it too.

Random aside: in my WEST END GAMES I actually used a lot of the writings from behind the scenes to spruce up my Star Wars games. For example, Roganda Ismaren's plot to put Irek on the throne was doomed from the start seemingly by the fact Sarcev Quest was the boy's father.

However, in my games, Sarcev Quest was legitimately Palpatine's nephew from Naboo and the father of ANOTHER character who Jello absolutely loves.

She muddled Irek's genetics further with lots of gene therapy that didn't help the boy's sanity or Force connection.

Kenth Hamner was also Ken Palpatine, which made his treatment by the Jedi in Fate of the Jedi all the more galling.

Nomi Sunrider: We're getting in territory of "minor" versus "major" here because Nomi was the star of several stories in Star Wars but Tales of the Jedi is such a minor part of the Star Wars universe yet also so vastly influential that it also deserves to be noted for its importance. I always liked her story as a widower who rose up to "avenge" her husband, found it was horrible, and yet still tried to become a better person. It also ended up in a area which you normally don't see where she chooses her career over her family, at least for a decade or so as the consequences of Exar Kun's actions play out.

Lana Beniko: Again, minor only in the consequence of being a supporting character in the MMO where she's arguably now the most important character in the franchise after the Outrider. I love the fact she's a Sith Lady who is probably the bare minimum you can call a Darksider or a Sith in name only. Yes, she's willing to do some terrible things but she equals about Thrawn level for being an antihero at worst. You also get a nice little note she's really trying to put the Empire first but like Leia is having trouble if you're romancing her.

Baron Fel: A genuine Ensemble Darkhorse because we probably wouldn't know about him save if you were a comic fan if not for the fact that Timothy Zahn really liked his story arc.

Wynessa Starflare: Baron Fel's WIFE who seems like she has a more interesting story than her husband. What is it like to be a Rebel's sister, an Imperial wife, a holo-actress, and then uprooting yourself to live in Chiss Space?

Starflare is one of the stories I've always wanted, and thought that would have made a great last hurrah story of Michael Stackpole. Much like I want Matt Stover's gritty cover of Jedi Prince, and James Luceno to write Borsk and Tyrannus.

Anyway, I'd like to contribute Crueya Vandron, the founder of COMPNOR with Il-Raz and a few others. A high-level advisor, the story of Vandron being pushed out by Pestage and Dangor could be interesting.

Vianna D'Pow, the albino Zeltron bounty hunter from those two short comics in the prequel era.

If we're listing cool obscure characters, we must begin with Kopecz. A sarcastic, resigned Sith Lord, he's one of the most unique Sith we've seen. Jedi vs. Sith is just a feast of great minor characters in general -- charismatic warrior Kiel Charny, wise advisor Pernicar, crusty old Jedi recruiter Torr Snapit.

The problem with Jedi Vs. Sith characters is that they also have to appear, unfortunately, in the pile of mediocrity called Darth Bane.

How could I forget Joram Kithe from Allston's Insider Clone Wars stories. I wanted more of him.

Thann Mithric, as my avatar suggests. I was bummed when Caedus killed him.

BoShek, the poor man's Dash Rendar.

Voolvif Monn. Wolf men are awesome. Wolf men with lightsabers are awesome squared.

Amaiza Foxtrain. There's just something about a gun slinging lady running around in pink lingerie.

Kelbis Nu. His transition from Jensaarai to Jedi must have been interesting. I wish we got to see it.

Tash Arranda. It seems like nearly every other Jedi hopeful from the Bantam era showed up later in some form, so it's criminal that we never got any expansion on her story.

I like the GAG as a whole idea because it was basically one long enormous freshtake against the Department of Homeland Security.

Normally, I'm all for trying to make minor characters into big ones but in no way shape or form did this work. I can't see why either.

Amazia is awesome, yes. So is her partner. I seriously don't know why we don't get those two back. I refuse to believe Bucky O'Hare isn't an homage to Jaxxon.

Darth Vowrawn always came off as a pretty decent fellow for a sith in SWTOR, interestingly enough I don't think he does any fighting in the entire game, going so far as going "Welp you got me." when he thinks the Wrath is going to kill him after busting into his base of operations. Apparently hes pretty good at sith politics and keeping himself alive though because hes the longest serving Dark council member by the time of the game, and also the only one of the council starting the game that isn't dead by the end of KOTET.

I'd mention Darth Marr, but I'm almost positive he doesn't count.

Jabba's nephew Gorga. 90% of his awesomeness comes from the Boba Fett: Death, Lies, and Treachery comics, and 10% of his awesomeness comes from the fact that they made this guy from TCW him.

    +1 for Trask. Total bamf.

And I still maintain he was Revan's undercover Jedi handler.

I love Trask but his dialogue in the opener is so freaking terrible. [face_laugh]
