SWRPF Archive Entangled Alliances [Clone Wars Era RPG]

The Clone Wars have been raging for nearly 2 war-torn years. The droid armies of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the clone armies of the Galactic Republic have fought themselves to a stalemate.

With both sides drawing upon vast resources, it seems unlikely that the wars will ever end without a drastic change. The Jedi have taken command of the Republic forces as the generals.

Supreme Chancellor Dantius Palpatine has intiated sweeping reforms to an effort to curb the internal violence. Civil liberties have been restricted, new sedition laws have been passed, and alien races have found themselves incresingly marginalized.

Even the illustrious Jedi Order itself has been demonized by the HoloNet as clone commanders have been hailed as the true heroes of the dicisive Clone Wars.

On the planet Bpfassh, in the Sluis sector, a Jedi temple has systematically disavowed the way of the Jedi and fallen to darkness. This Dark Jedi insurrection could prove deadly for the frail Order.

Worse yet, the corrupt Jedi have aligned themselves with a Hutt crimelord and his extensive syndicate, as well as the mighty Urvjann Empire, that borders the Sluis sector.

If not dealt with, these factions could tip the crucial balance between the sides of the Clone Wars. Because of the import of the events, the Jedi Council has assigned 300 Jedi, as well as a clone army to crush the threat.

Little do they know the potency of the threat they are about to face...

Bio: Damnus Bazlind has a murky past. He was known as being a revolutionary from his late teens. He could have been found ranting about his idealogical, racist and religious views on the side of streets.

Not until the Urvjann Revolution, which he spearheaded and planned, did his extremist views catch fire due to economic and social frustration in the isolated Urvjann system.

Bazlind promised peace, security and prosperity for everyone. He ended up turning the system into a totalitarian police state. All political dissidents were killed in the name of the "greater good."

With the emergence of the Clone Wars and the Separatists crisis for the woeful Republic, Damnus found it a prime opportunity to consolidate his power and become poised to expand.

Anyone can join as a Jedi, Dark Jedi, member of the Urvjann Empire, a pirate, Separatist, clone trooper, etc. etc. Just specify it in your post. Have fun!

Bio: A child born of prophecy, possibly conceived by the will of the Force itself, Anakin Skywalker has left an indelible mark on the history of the galaxy, leading it through periods of lightness and dark.

A child slave on Tatooine, Anakin and his mother Shmi were sold by their owner, Gardulla the Hutt, to the unscrupulous Toydarian junkdealer Watto. While in Watto's employ, Anakin learned valuable mechanical and technical skills. He earned the reputation of being able to fix anything. So technically inclined was he that at the young age of nine, he cobbled together a working protocol droid -- C-3PO -- to help his mother.

Anakin was a kind, selfless child. He had no thoughts of greed or malice in him. Though that is not to say the boy was docile. When his adrenaline surged, Anakin had an aggressive competitive streak. Anakin's participation in the foolhardy sport of Podracing is testament to this.

Anakin Skywalker is the only known human capable of handling the extreme speeds of Podracing. His small frame allowed him to sit in the tiny cockpit, and his superhuman reflexes gave him the advantage he needed to keep up with alien competitors better suited to the sport. Anakin's reflexes were actually the product of Force-intuition -- the boy could see events before they happened, and respond to them in kind.

Anakin's sensitivity to the Force and his racing talents caused him to cross paths with the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and the young Naboo royal, Queen Amidala. They were fugitives from the Trade Federation blockade of Naboo that desperately needed passage to Coruscant. In order to win the needed parts for their damaged vessel, Anakin figured into a cleverly crafted wager that depended on the outcome of the Boonta Eve Classic Podrace.

Anakin pitted his racing talents against the scheming Dug Podracer, Sebulba. The young boy ultimately bested the treacherous alien, winning not only the race and the needed starship parts, but also his freedom. He also garnered the attention and admiration of Queen Amidala, who was disguised as a simple handmaiden at the time. Despite their age difference -- she was fourteen and he, nine -- he professed someday that they would marry and carried a devoted crush on her.

Unfortunately, Anakin was unable to win his mother's freedom. Qui-Gon sensed incredible Force potential in the boy, and Anakin's bloodstream held a record number of midi-chlorians. When he departed with Qui-Gon to proceed with his Jedi training, Anakin was forced to leave his mother behind. Although a new life of adventure awaited him offworld, his thoughts dwelled on the kind and quiet Shmi.

Qui-Gon Jinn believed Anakin to be the Chosen One spoken of in an ancient prophecy, the one who would bring balance to the Force. The Jedi Council was reluctant to train the boy, feeling his future to be clouded and that Anakin was too old to begin Jedi training.

After the liberation of Naboo -- wherein Anakin bravely piloted a starfighter into the heart of the Trade Federation Droid Control Ship -- the Council rescinded its original decision, and allowed Obi-Wan Kenobi to take Anakin as his Padawan learner.

Over the next decade, the two forged a strong bond. Under Obi-Wan's careful guidance, Anakin became a confident, headstrong 20-year old with an impulsive nature and a flair for adventure. His reckless ways would often wear down even Obi-Wan's patience, but the two were close friends. In many ways, Anakin looked to Obi-Wan as the father figure he never had.

After the clone wars had begun Dooku revealed to Arrock that he was a Sith, and his masters name was Darth Sidious. Dooku asked Arrock to join him to kill Sidious, and rule the galaxy together. Arrock was furious with Dooku and they fought, He defeated Dooku, but when he contiplated killing him, 5 droidakas rolled in, Arrock escaped and let Dooku live. Soon after he returned to the Republic and asked to help fight against Dooku, and his mysterious master, Darth Sidious. But Arrock was still oblivious to the fact that Sidious controlled the Republic....

Reeft was well liked by his peers, and very good friends with Obi-Wan Kenobi himself. Known for his insatiable appetite, Reeft would often finish his friends' meals and still not be satisfied. When his training at the Temple neared its conclusion, Reeft was apprenticed to Jedi Master Binn Ibes and traveled the galaxy for many years afterwards with Binn eventually gaining the title of Jedi Knight.

Bio: Gree was created as a Clone to lead some of the best troops. Once a ARC trooper trianed by Jango Fett him self Gree was given the rank of General and fought on Geonosis with Ki-Adi-Mundi.
Clone Commander Gree, designation 1004, led the Elite Corps stationed on Kashyyyk during the Clone Wars. He served under General Yoda, commanding troops that employed specialized equipment for combat in the jungle environment. Gree himself wore camouflaged armor to better blend into the verdant surroundings.

strength that was driven by hate, anger and incredible lonliness. He then left Dooku to fight in the
clone wars and test his strengths. He has not felt happiness since the age of 16 and has set a goal to
destroy any people he finds threatening.

Damnus Bazlind stood at the portal of his inner antechamber overlooking the bussling streets and boulevards of the city bellow him. He felt like the Maker himself. Like he had peeled back the very layers of wispy clouds to peer down at the realm of mortals.

In many ways he did feel like the Maker. He was powerful. The most powerful man in a hundred planets. A hundred planets was a measly number to a visionary like himself, though. The burden of enlightenment rested primarily on his shoulders.

It was his duty while in the realm of the living to spread the ideals of the Maker. To bring all men crashing to their knees in submission and repenting of their sinful ways in light of the Maker's boundless mercy and grace.

He had already seized full control of his native Urvjann Empire. It was scarcely enough. It only whetted his appetite for power. He must have it all, or Bazlind had nothing. He was a pious crusader for the gospel of the Maker.

Damnus had made a pact with the Confederacy of Independent Systems to further solidify his command. He had gained an audience with Count Dooku himself and his droid General Grievous because of the might of the splendid Urvjann Empire.

Damnus, from a balcony, watched as phalanxs of battle droids marched into the city: a sign of the truce between the Separatists and Premier Bazlind. His own soldiers intermingled with the mechanized units and infantry of the Separatists fresh from foundries.

His people cheered the arrival of the souless battle droids. Men had climbed lampposts, women had lifted their small children into the air, everyone shook their fists and shouted. Bazlind smiled a small smile at the gaity and celebration.

Mutilated and decomposing corpses of unruly Jedi who had refused to side with the Dark Jedi that revolted on Bpfassh were hung with tight nooses around their necks and on display for days. Children took time to spit on and curse the atheistic Jedi.

Prejudice ran rampant all throughout the empire of those who had even a minute mastery of the mystical Force. They were infidels who rejected the one true Maker. The Lord of all the universe. They were worthless heathen dogs who all deserved a slow, painful death.

The people hurrahed when Bazlind came into view. Bazlind graciously bowed his head as he waved to the throng. He motioned for his assistants and soldiers to toss loaves of bread into the sea. Bazlind made it so. Those who didn't cheer died.

It was what the Maker willed. Bazlind was their teacher, their father. They were his ununderstanding children. They could either be disciplined... or punished. Either way, the bliss of hereafter in the presence of the Maker awaited them.

Life was meaningless. Life was a test. It had no value.

The people began a haunting chant of his name. Bazlind could barely contain himself.

Bioarth Sidious' plans to unleash the Sith upon the galaxy and do away with the Jedi had been in development for decades. Despite the seeming setback of the death of his apprentice, Sidious continues his shadowy plots. Given his endless patience and penchant for complex schemes carried out in secrecy, it is likely the full results of his machinations will not appear for years to come.
So complex were Sidious' plans that he could not allow unwitting agents to stumble upon them or otherwise interfere. That is where Maul was best used: a stealthy assassin dispatched on missions to remove any impedance to Sidious' master plan. To that end, Sidious even sicced Maul on the greatest criminal empire the galaxy had known, Black Sun, to ensure the syndicate would not ruin what he had carefully plotted.

Sidious operated from a secret hideout on Coruscant. He seemed to embrace technology, as he equipped Maul with an arsenal of high-tech equipment -- a converted star courier as his prime conveyance, a modified speeder bike for high-speed assaults, and an array of sophisticated probe droids to help on his hunts.

That the Sith could stage their operations on Coruscant undetected -- the same world that housed the Jedi Temple -- is evidence of the slippery nature of the dark side, and Sidious' mastery of illusion and deceit.

Backstory:This Wookiee was a member of the Jedi Knights, during the Old Republic, and was trained at the Jedi center on the planet Almas. Kirlocca was as ferocious as any Wookiee when he first arrived on Almas, and was admitted by Nerra Ziveri when he showed incredible control over the Force. During his training, Kirlocca distinguished himself as a master in the techniques of lightsaber fighting, and remained on Almas after being named a Jedi Knight to teach lightsaber techniques to other students.

Over time, Kirlocca stopped using Wookiee war cries in combat, instead fighting in an eerie silence that tended to disarm his opponents. Kirlocca also achieved the level of Jedi Master, and taught lightsaber combar at the Almas Academy for many years.

Kirlocca later moved to Courascant to help Cin Drallig in lightsaber training there. His next assignment was to Kashyyyk, he couldn't wait to go home. When he arrived he was outraged. Kirrlocca couldn't believe that droids had invaded the planet. He fought heroicly in the battle alongside Yoda and Luminara Unduli and when Order 66 was heard of he fled into the forests and escaped the planet.

 

Reb-Za had reached Coruscant, he started for the jedi temple and walked into it.

Bio: Instrumental in the capture of many key locations, such as the infamous Rhen Var Citadel, Theta is a hero of the Republic. His actions have brought him in close contact with many famous Jedi, such as the revered Generals Kenobi and Mundi. He is unlike many of his brothers in arms, as he prefers to employ psych warfare when he attacks.

Delta slowly moved to stand beside Bazlind, her arms folded across her chest, dispassionately observing the chanting crowds.
Her lithe, muscular figure was clad in a black body glove, and her long braid hung down her back.
Her heeled boots added a few inches to her height, and a utility belt hung across her hips, carrying two blasters, a few vibro-blades, and a comm link.


She watched the crowds, neither smiling, nor frowning, her expression carefully neutral.
"Don't you find them pathetic, my lord?" she asked, her tone completely devoid of emotion.
