Enter The Matrix

Hey i was at gamestop and the had Enter The Matrix coming out in May for GameCube.My Question is is it coming to PS2? Does the Matrix game of a website or something?

 

I havn't heard about that. That would be a way cool game.

I hope you find this information useful. I don't think there is a website about the computer game yet though.

If any of you guys own The Matrix Revisisted DVD, they have a section all about this video game and how they're making it. The actually Japanese stunt team who worked for the movie (Wu Ping, I think is the head guy's name) did all the motion capture for the game. [face_shocked]

Apparently M$ pay some cash for some exclusive online content. It's been awhile since I've heard anything about this game. I saw some screens a couple weeks ago, they were not very flatering.

I agree, those screens looked blocky and, well, ugly.

 

This had better not be like one of those crappy movie based videogames. The Matrix created a very cool fighting system that would be very fun to play in a game, but only if the programers can get it right.

Ummm du! Thats why they have been working on it soo long, did you know that they actualy used the fighting team that trained the people in the matrix for the game? Hu hu bet you diden't know that now did you!

 

Enter The Matrix screens. Mmm.. pootastic! Of course these are the PS2 screens so that might explain why the game looks crappy... I hope.

odj_310388, ther have been plenty of crappy games that took forever to make. Just because a game takes a long time to make dosen't mean it will be good. And it dosen't matter who they got from the movie to work on this game. Developing a video game is different from filming a movie.

Or it could be that the game isn't released yet, so these are early screenshots. Let's not expect Geforce FX style graphics out of a 2 year old console

Ps2 is the best! besides PC anyways.

i read about this game in g force (uk mag) and it sounds and looks good. they had an interview with the writers of the matrix and they said you would not play as either neo, trinity or morphious. those three characters would all feature in the game as well as locations from the movies but to make the game a challenge you would be a new charater who will have to learn how to fight and do things matrix style.

 

I think a Matrix game would be a lot like Max Payne. I think that game was meant to be like the Matrix

The difference between the two sets of screen shots is scary. I feel sorry for those who will have to play this game on their PS2's.

I don't know but those screenshots (yes all of them) are incredibly uninteresting. They just seem dull to me. The environments look pretty bland. Hopefully that'll improve.

 

I feel sorry for anyone that has to play this game with anything less than a GeForce 4 (yes, that includes you XBoxers). I'll be picking this one up for my PC.

 

The Wachowski brothers have helped the development with story and some scenes. Yuen woo ping has also assisted in the motion capture of the martial arts moves!

DD - Matrix Spliff

 

Last time i looked when the two towers came out the ps2 screenshots looked bad,but they ended up being pretty good! Besides if it looks bad on ps2 pickit up for PC and yes i have a Geforce 4 and 320 ram,so it should be good.

 

Good Lord this game is going to be amazing.

 

Wait a minute, you can't play as Neo, Trinity, or Morpheus???

I geuss I'll still pick it up though
