FF:NSW Ep II - Visual Dict and Incredible Cross Sections tomorrow

Hi guys didn't see a mention of this.
Both these books instore tomorrow. We are running a SW extravaganza instore at the moment. 20% off the list price of EpII Visual Dictionary and Incredible Cross-sections. Not to mention the Novellisation for 27.95 not 39.95. Also a 3 for the price of two on SW paperbacks, EU that is.
Its awesome because of all the hype I have been able to play with SW displays all day today. I am thinking about bringing in some figures but can't think how to secure them. Any ideas?

I guess i could just bring in my Jar Jar, no one woulf want to nick him.

By the way, good news for all those who are spoiler free, at the EpII (Shadowfire) debrief on May 19th we will have all these specials running as well as the soundtrack at $26.95. And giving away a few Ep II cinematic posters, they are awesome. Right now I love my job. So everyone come and but loads of SW from me, cause your gonna buy it anyway, and help me to keep doin' what i love.

To answer your question, Yes from a certain point of view.
I originally ahd the idea for Supanova but to arrange the stock I had to go through our head office. They decided in their inestimable way that we would run the deal instore to coincide with the release of Ep II. It is a great way for people to pick up the books cheap and get into reading the EU stuff which is mostly pretty good.

 

I remember seeing in the Supanova guide that it was only for Supanova, guess they must have printed that early.

That EpII debriefing sounds better and better everyday. I've got heaps of work due for uni around that time though, I hope I can make it.

1 x Obi-Wan Kenobi figure $12.84 (bought over a week ago! )
1 x Anakin Skywalker {Peasant - not the BEST fig) - $12.84
1 x Padme Amidala - $12.84
1 x R2D2 $12.84 - he makes noise
1 x Shaak Ti - $12.84 - this one is nice.
1 x Episode II Visual Dictionary $22.46 (friends in high places! )
1 x Episode II novel $29.95

I DON'T want to total that. Too much money in pretty much one day. And, I still have heaps of figs to get plus the Soundtrack.

When does the soundtrack come out again? 'Cause that's something I'm DEFINATELY putting money aside for.

 

Soundtrack is out May 3rd. If you pay more than $26.95 then you are paying too much. By the way we have EpII novel for 27.95 not 29.95, you payed too much.

 

I'm gonna buy the soundtrack when/if get enough money.

Ragtime you saw me at Supanova, I work in a book shop AND I am a huge Star Wars fan. What do you think??

By the way any questions you want answered just ask. I don't know everything but I will sure try to learn.

 

another word of warning - huge spoilers in the visual dictionary and some minor ones in the cross section. my girlfriend immediately turned to the zam wessell page and i had to yank the book out of her hand as she's trying to stay spoiler free.
about the only new spoiler for me was oblio has issues but screamer already posted that one.
