Ep III In 10 Megapixels?

I just read a thread in the Ep III spoiler section that said that Lucas was building a 10 Megapixel camera. The people who posted in the thread didn't seem to know what they were talking about, thus I am posting here, hoping to get an answer from someone with knowledge. So, is this really such a huge event? And will we as mivie-goers notice a huge diff.?

 

Well, I am spoiler-free for this one (well, it's the last time I'll be able to do that), but I read this on the TFN home page.

It was indeed reported by some website (Film Threat, I think), that Sony was develloping a 10 megapixel HD camera.

Yeah, 'tis cool. I don't know how much of a difference we'll see since at that point the projection seems to be the small end of the pipeline, but hey, it'll knock down the prices of the old Sony HDW-F900s for us.
