According to making star wars, the trooper looking figure is possibly Kylo Ren. They have additional leaked artwork of Ren as well.

 

The height makes me think it's Gwendoline's character. Possibly this is Captain Phasma assuming that is her. But given this one seems to be most of the main characters, it probably is Kylo Ren.

And Chewie is just the existing Black Series Chewbacca with a new head and bandolier. So not sure if that means no cybernetics or not.

 

Kind of looks like a cross between Vader and a storm trooper.

I wonder what colors Finn will be wearing. Also, his right hand seems primed for holding a blaster. Notice the trigger finger. Perhaps he uses both a blaster and a lightsaber, assuming he does indeed use a saber?

If the figure on the left is Kylo Ren, I wonder what the "default" look is for that character: hood up or down?

 

Well it's certainly reproducing the Vader iconocography... which was inevitable really....

Yeah, I'm on the Kylo train with the figure. If you look to the left of the figure, just behind his right arm, you can see the jagged edges of the cloak, which matches the figure in the trailer and the leaked photo from SWU. And the incised lines on the helmet match the IR concept art and the SWU photo. It's all the same character!

People are saying the ribbed pattern on the figure doesn't match the trailer, but that texture is super apparent right now since the figure isn't painted. In black, with actual fabric and not plastic, that texture would be much more subtle and would hang closer to the body like it did in the trailer.

 

you are correct, it is the current black series chewie body. Notice none of them have accessories yet. The cyber arm could be an accessory if chewie has fake skin and fur, and it gets torn off at some point.

 

My thoughts: Rey definitely looks like a Jedi.

 

I dig Kylo Ren's helmet quite a bit!

Curious to see a clear shot of the chrometrooper/Gwendoline Christie's character.

We're gonna start getting really good looks at a lot of these characters pretty soon, huh.

I mean, I guess if I wanted to be corny or whatever, I'd say "This is where the fun begins."

Kylo Ren looks awesome!

I hope he has a badass entrance a la Vader in ANH.

 

I don't believe it is Kylo. The robe looks nothing like the robe in the teaser.

 

I also hope he is sustained as the one of the main villains throughout the ST.

 

It looks like Shaun of the Dead 2. Especially zombie Chewie. Gonna have nightmares this Christmas.

 

Look closer. There is no doubt that it is Kylo Ren.
