    Revenge of the Sith:

    Obi-Wan:
    "R2, locate the Chancellor."
*R2-D2 plugs into network of The Invisible Hand*
"The Chancellor's signal is coming from right there. The observation platform at the top of that spire."

    A New Hope:

    Obi-Wan:
"Plug in. He should be able to interpret the entire Imperial network."
A few moments later R2 finds princess Leia.

This is a neat detail because it gives Obi-Wan a reason to know what an R2 unit can do in Ep4. Also, both times R2 finds the captured authority figure that they must rescue.

    *******

    Ep3:
Obi-Wan on the comlink when he needs the elevator activated:
    "R2? Come in R2."

    Ep4:
Luke on the comlink when he needs the garbage compactor shut down:
    "C-3P0? Come in C-3P0!"

Both times R2 uses the "bad guys" network

    ***********

    Running joke?

In Episode 1 Nute Gunray orders the blast doors closed when the Jedi are approaching.

In Episode 3 Nute Gunray willingly lets in his killer, Vader, who closes the blast doors using the force.

Then, in Episode 4 when Han and Luke are fleeing from Stormtroopers the Stormies shout
"Close the blast doors!" Our heroes make it through just as the doors close, so the Stormtroopers start shouting
"Open the blast doors! Open the blast doors!"

    ******

This one isn't exactly Ep4 related, but I noticed that Yoda and Sidious both say something similar to the Clone Troopers, before and during Order 66.

    Clonetrooper:
"The Seperatists have started up their main power generators."
    Yoda:
"Then now the time is, commander."

    Sidious:
"The time has come. Execute Order 66."

    **********

Leia (After Luke and Han say goodbye):
"He has to choose his own path. No one can choose it for him."

I thought this line was pretty relevant to the other "farewell" scenes from different Episodes.

This might be a bit off-topic, but I thought this was a relevant Episode III/VI connection:

    "Are you coming Master?"

"Oh no, I'm not brave enough for politics. I have to report to the Council. Besides, someone needs to be the poster boy anyway."

"Hold on, wait just a minute, this whole operation was your idea."

"Let us not forget that you killed Count Dooku and you rescued the Chancellor, all while carrying me unconscious on your back."

    "All because of your training."

"Anakin, let's be fair you are the hero, and you deserve your glorious day with the politicians."

"Alright, but you owe me one.... and not for saving your skin for the tenth time--"

"Ninth time, that business with Cat Nemoida that doesn't-that doesn't count. I'll see you at briefing."

    -----------------------------------------------------

"Look, I want you to take her! I mean it! Take her! You need all the help you can get.... she's
the fastest ship in the fleet..."

"All right, old buddy! You know, I know what she means to you.... I'll take good care of her.
    She-she won't get a scratch. All right?"

" ......Right. I got your promise now. Not a scratch."

" ...Would you just get going y'pirate!?"

    "Good luck."

    "You too."

    See the connection? ;)

Interesting. Perhaps I'm looking too deeply.

    Read it more carefully.

    ....

On second thought, perhaps this connection is more apparent:

"When's the last time you saw him?"

    "Yesterday..."

"And do you know where he is now?"

    "No..."

"Padmé! I need your help! He's in grave danger--"

    "--From the Sith!?"

"...From himself.... Padmé, Anakin has turned to the darkside."

"You're wrong! How can you even say that?"

" ......I have seen a security recording of him..... killing younglings....."

    "Not Anakin! He couldn't."

"He was decieved by a lie, we all were. It appears that the Chancellor is behind everything, including the war. Palpatine is the Sith Lord we've been looking for. After the death of Count Dooku, Anakin became his new apprentice."

    " .......I don't believe you! I can't."

" ...Padmé, I must find him."

"You're going to kill him, aren't you?"

"He has become a very great threat!"

    "I can't....."

" ....Anakin is the father, isn't he? .....I'm so sorry."

    -----------------------------------------------------

    "Luke, what's wrong?"

"Leia! Do you remember your mother? Your real mother?"

"Just a little bit. She died when I was very young."

"What do you remember about her, tell me."

    "Just images really, feelings."

    "Tell me."

"She was young, kind, but.... sad. Why are you asking me this?"

"I have no memory of my mother. I never knew her."

"Luke tell me, what's troubling you?"

" ......Vader's here, right now, on this moon."

    "How do you know?"

"I felt his presence. He's come for me. That's why I have to go! As long as I stay here I'm endangering the crew and their mission. I have to face him."

    "Why?"

    " ......He's my father."

    " ......Your father?"

"There's more! It won't be easy for you to hear, but you must. If I don't make it back you're the only hope for the Alliance."

"Luke! No--don't talk that way! You have a power, I don't understand, it could never have!"

"You're wrong, Leia. You have that power too. In time, you will learn to use it as I have. The Force runs strong in my family. My father has it. I have it. My sister, has it. .....Yes, Leia, it's you."

"I know..... somehow, I've always known."

"Then you know why I have to face him!"

"No! Run away! Far away! If he can feel your presence then *leave* this place; I wish I could go with you."

"No you don't! You've always been strong."

"But why must you confront him!?"

"Because, there's good in him, I felt it, I can turn him back... to the good side. I have to try."

    See the connection now?

That baffled me, too much dialogue. It's hard to understand what you are trying to say.

I guess Padme doesn't want Obi-Wan to face Vader just as Leia doesn't want Luke to face Vader.
And Leia is learning her father is a Sith, similarly to Padme learning her husband is one.

Why don't you just explain what it is you are going for.
