My boyfriend got me an Ephant Mon at a con a couple of weeks ago and it had a large sticker on the back of the card. Then I get one today from Target and it doesn't have a sticker on the back.

Does anyone know if it's a variant or not?

    Amidala,
My Ephants dont have that sticker on them, but i did recognize the letters CE and the picture of the infant. Those same symbols are on the bottom of the card insert on my two Yodas. This is what those symbols mean:
    The CE Mark
This is the supplier's statement that their toys meet the essential safety requirements of the European Toys Safety Directive and the UK's Toys (Safety) Regulations, 1995. Suppliers have to prove that their toys meet these requirements before they are given permission to use the CE Mark.

    The Lion Mark
The Lion Mark was developed by the British Toy & Hobby Association as a symbol of toy safety and quality for the consumer. To display the Lion Mark, the supplier has signed a strict Code of Practice, which, as well as covering toy safety matters, demands the highest standards of ethics in advertising and counterfeiting.

Not suitable for children under 3 years old
This symbol warns that the toy is unsuitable for children under three years because it might, for instance, contain small parts. There could be a real danger if a toy displaying this logo is given to a child under the age of three years.

Could it have come from the UK?

It definitely came from the UK. I have a few carded figs from the UK, and have seen that sticker before. It isn't a variant.

The invisible Ephant Mon variant is my favourite toy yet in the Saga line.

Quite a lot of playtime possibilities...the only limit is your imagination.

Yeah, it's come from the UK, all the figs over have that sticker, apart from Wave 1 Collection 1 (because there is UK versions of them).

"Ive actually found 4 of the Ephant Mons. Not that invisible here. "

I would have to disagree there. Never saw him once.

I found a 2nd Ephant Mon at Target yesterday. Instead of opening him (I really really want to open him too) I sold him to a member of my FF who was Ephant Monless.

We should create an invisible Ephant Mon fan club and share ideas on what you can do with your Ephant Mon toys.

I like the idea of an invisible Ephant Mon fan club. Also we can sell the invisible Ephant Mon to collectors who don't have any... kinda like the whole "pet rock" craze when I was a kid. We can make a lot of money selling the invisble Ephant mon, selling accessories for it, membership to the fan club for it, etc. Then we can increase our product line in the future to include other invisible collectibles. ;)

Went to TRU awhile ago and for the first time EVER in my area, I found the elusive non-invisible Ephant Mon figure!
They, of course, only had 1.
Only... I'm so broke right now, I can't even pay attention! :(
So, I grabbed it, walked to a different section, and threw him up in the top-stock bin over a completely different toy line! [face_devil]
Of course, it'll be 8 long days before I get paid again and can think about buying him. By then, I have no doubt that an employee will have removed it from the top-stock and put it out, so some scalper can snatch it up. :_|
    I can't win for nothing. :(

    That's okay AnakinMoonwalker.

I just happen to have some of the Ephant Mon (invisible variant) figures that I'll be putting up on eBay shortly...with a "Buy Now!" price of only $15 (doesn't include shipping).
