Im planning to line up for pretty much the whole stretch. and i would like to know if there is anywhere nearby that we could shower, because like all humans, I get smelly. And if i dont shower for 5 days, I might smell like bantha poodoo.

Nowhere official...best bet is to just take a break and go home to shower periodically to shower...that's my plan.

i'm going home every day (for about 2 hours) to shower the weekend i'm going to be camped out there. No way i miss my shower! also lets me not have to lug around clothes etc., as i can just hop on the subway and head there and back, take a couple of hours out of the day to sort of regenerate and feed the guinea pigs and goldfish!

Then us out of towners are going to have to borrow someone's shower.

I hear there are a couple good open sewers around that theatre.

Actually ... there is a health club called "the Workout" just steps east of Sheppard and young...maybe you can get a one month membership, or even better ...A ONE WEEK TRIAL ;-). Bayview and sheppard there is a YMCA.

Well, I'm hoping I can get up to Deb's area sometime during the week. I'd like to drop in on someone I know, if I get the chance.

well, it looks like I'll miss out on that then. A soggy line up doesn't really sound like much fun.

We managed last time to quickly do some makeshift tarp-tents. It was actually a lot of fun. Sure, no rain would have been better. But we made the best of the situation.

Nothing wrong with rain! It's natural, and it adds to the adventure :) Plus - it keeps you clean!

Seriously - It's almost a neccessary part of the experience....Not only do I fondly recall the times under the tarp during the Episode 2 line, but I can still remember standing in line at the Colossus for Phantom Menace (Before I knew about the "official" line) and uttering those fateful words to my friend: "Don't worry - this rain can't last for *six whole hours*".
I was wrong. But it was still worth every wet second! :D

I think that only works if you have as much hair as a wookie.
