Episode 3 novel release?????

When do you dudes think the EP3 novel is going to be released?????? I mean arent they normaly released after the movie so they dont reveal anything????????? the reason I'm asking is that there was this person who said that he would read the novel before the movie is being released.

 

They are normally released like a month before the movie, IIRC.

Whoa there...AOTC came out two months before the movie?! I don't exactly remember that. I think it was after: the movie was out on Friday, and the book was in the stores on Saturday (you could pre-order it on Amazon, but it wouldn't arrive until Saturday).

Now, the PM novel did come out before the movie, and people were pissed because of the major spoiler (Qui-Gon got killed). But I think they didn't want the same thing to happen with AOTC, so they waited until after the movie was released.

 

The EPII novelization was released on April 23rd, 2002.

 

It's by Matt Stover, and the adaptions of the first 2 were out in late April/early May, so I'm betting this one will be too.

 

Apparently the forthcoming Episode III prelude maxi-series from Dark Horse is slated to conclude the same month of the film's release...hypothetically.

With the past two years' worth of DH's chronic shipping delays, I ain't exactly holding my breath for them to fulfill this promise, but we'll see.
