I think that Epi.III should be "The circle of decpetion" but that's just me .

 

I think it should be called "Episode III: The Emperor's New Clothes"

 

Also in the middle of the trailer,we should see Boba and Mace staring at eachother and not see Vader,but hear him say,"He's all yours bounty hunter."


Oh man...I never really like fan ideas, some are allright I guess, but the one above is absolutely fantastic. Usually in trailers there is the obligatory story setup for the first half, then there is a few second pause, then BAM! you're assaulted with action.

This scene would work perfect as a lead up to the barrage of action sequences all trailers have in th emiddle.

Just think...the flow of the trailer stops, things get silent, and we see a shot of Mace (or any character really) with their weapon, then a shot of Boba with his weapon, then blackness as we hear the voice over: "He's all yours bounty hunter."

 

All great ideas. Here's my two:

*Every General Leads in Battle:
show obi-wan leading a group of Jedi or Troopers with weapons drawn

*Every Queen Discovers Her Destiny:
Show Padme' maybe pregnant

*From there just show Anakin Screaming while hes alone not in pain but in agony
*****they should NOT show vader period.

with these there is no chance of anyone complaining of the movie being spoiled for them- it should leave them on the edge of their seat

 

The best last shot of the trailer would not be Vader himself, but rather a shot of someone (Obi-Wan? Padme?) as they are seeing Vader for the first time. The shock on their faces would be awesome to end on.

(a) we could have a shot of Padme and Ani doing the wild thing for both lol

(b) for the latter headline, I keep thinking of DVDA's "now you're a man, a man man man."

I totally agree that a shot of Padme or Obi-Wan or Mace seeing Vader for the first time would be effective.

What would be even more effective would be, to parallel the TPM trailer, see a shot of Obi-Wan yelling "noooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!" and then an explosion.


Anyway, in all seriousness, I would like the trailer to show something of either the desperation or the resignation of the Jedi - I think this would be pretty effective.

Y'know, I have a feeling I won't be able to watch the trailers...there's too much going on that I won't want to know about.

I've had this floating around my head for some time. I think I had a dream that George Lucas was hosting a fan trailer competition for the episode 3 teaser?!

Anyway here goes:

I know that this trailer could be a problem as it uses facts and dialougue from A New Hope but I just thought it sounded cool!

Hey KSA,if Padme dies in the movie,then it would not be possible for Leia to have even one slight image of her mother.I think Padme dies when Leia is at least 1 1/2 or 2 years old to have some images of her.

arena jedi-i love your idea of the VO from ep IV!!!!! great way to tie the tow trilogies together! i think another great idea would be to show powerful images like you're all talking about with no sound at all but vader's breathing over it-i think they had an AOTC teaser like that in early on ...this thread is getting me really excited! gotta decide if i'll watch it though...i don't think i'll be able to resist!!!

Arena Jedi I loved your trailer it was very creative!!

 

I'd like a teaser trailer very similar to the AoTC one, although I'm unsure of which ending to the trailer I'd really like to see. Anyway, this is what I envision:

A black screen with Vader's breathing.
A few shots of characeters, settings, and environments. During these shots, the breathing will become progressivly louder.
Then, the screen should be cut to complete black, and silence.

Then, either this...

Suddenly, a couple of quick headshots of Anakin and Obi Wan dueling, complete with saber sound effects. baaaaaaaDUM! Star Wars: Episode III: Return Of Watto's Hat [Imagine the Anakin/Dooku duel in the darkness with the faces aglow, that's what I am picturing]

...or...

Simply a blaster sound effect of ZAP-ZA-ZA-ZAP, followed by Obi-Wan shouting "Get the children out of here!" (a beat passes) baaaaaaaDUM! Star Wars: Episode III: Jedi Slaying Fantastica![Think about the sound effect heard when Han asks the two guards for a hand on board the Falcon in Episode IV.]

I'm hoping it doesn't show us the duel, or too much of anything else. The duel I definitely want to be surprised by.
