Maybe you should go out into the "REAL" world and try some other games too.

This game rocks. Even though it's techincally a really bad game, it's definitely one of my favorites!

I bought Episode 1 really cheap from Zellers here in Canada about oh a year and a half ago, I ended up returning the darn thing to the store a couple hour's later LOL.

The game interface IMHO stunk, especially when it came to using the lightsaber. I got so fed up I said to heck with it I am not going to own this title.

Guess I was spoiled playing Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 all these year's. I still play it on occasion because I dont like Outcast either. :)

(PS I have played some of you before under different names here in the past in JK:DF2).

...i kinda liked "Episode I"... Didn't think it deserved the thrashing that it got.. Sure, there were SOME flaws in the game (looks like it was rushed in production), but overall, it entertained me.. In the end, that's all you can ask for, really...

Boba_Fett- what was your user name when you played with us? If you played with us during the summer of '00, tell me your previous username and I'll probably remember you! :)

Oh heck I had a ton of names. :)

    FBJK_Pretender
    BoL_Pretender
    BoL_Sisko

Unfortunately I had to leave BoL last month as the clan is pretty much dead. Even though it's expanded to JO I rarely see any members playing IT or JK:DF2 anymore so...

Uh, what are you all talking about? JK was better game than Outcast, but Outcast's graphics were better. the graphics for Episode I sucked, but it was an okay game except for the lightsaber. If you got all the JK weapons the game would rule

I liked the Episode I game, after beating it I ended up selling it. My first SW PC game was TIE Fighter.

Come to think of it my first Star Wars game I remember playing was the original Xwing on a 386-40 back in oh heck 1993 I believe LOL. Then later on I got TIE Fighter and enjoyed that for a few year's.

Too bad the add-on pack(s) for TIE Fighter had horrible voice acting and tended to be buggy. Whoever they found for the Palpatine and Thrawn voice-overs in the addon's needed to be shot LOL.

Assuming the PC version was roughly the same as the PSX one, I also thought it was pretty enjoyable despite its numerous, painfully obvious flaws. The world design and the ability to save anywhere and take each challenge individually probably play a large role in that, at least for me. Most of the weapons were actually fairly useful, though it was a bit strange when the lightsaber would pass through enemies instead of killing them.
