Huh, I just realized that school will be out a week before AotC. So, that means school will be done in 144 days! Boy, will AotC be one heck of a present after finals!

 

I'm not sure what the projected start date is for this project.. but it could complicate things.....

According to the article in the Tribune, the theater would close in the first quarter of 2002 to start renovations and reopen in the first quarter of 2003. I'm going to start a separate thread about this. Between this and the announcement that blasters and similar weapons will not be allowed at Star Wars Celebration II, this is not shaping up to be a great week for Star Wars fans.

Do any of you know when the next trailer is going to be released? Or are they done with the trailers?

 

Probably sometime in March, but nothing's been announced yet.

The new trailer is suppose to air between February and March and is a little over 2 minutes long. ?Suppose to?

 

I just got off the phone with a friend in the Lowes Corp and he said that McClurg WILL be open for the EP2 release. The reconstruction has been pushed back to late summer.

Did you guys see on T.V. the 2 guys from Seattle that are waiting for Episode II out in front of some theater? It was on CNN yesterday morning. They have a website you can go to - WaitingForStarWars.com. These guys are total [What I Want To Be]Star Wars Freaks[/What I Want To Be].

The Seattle guys are camping out for Attack of the Clones because they heard that the trailer for the next Lord Of The Rings will be shown at it.

I just heard that someone is trying to change the name of the 2nd LOTR movie The Two Towers to something else because of the Sept. 11 attack. Phil any take on this rumor. I think it sucks if is true; LOTR has nothing to do with the WTC incident. Don't you guys think people are being a little extremist?

 

I agree it's pretty pathetic. I mean I guess it can kind of make you think of 911 (since we're all condidtioned to do so by now). But IF they're going to do anything, why not just refer to it as T3 or TX3 or TTT. Kind of like how Kentucky Fried Chicken changed their campaign to just "KFC" since Kentucky FRIED Chicken makes you think of greasy, fattening yard-bird that's been deep-fried in lard.
