Singapore's DVD always appear 1 week b4 US release, so it's definitely out this weekend!

Best bet is BLUEMAX or GRAMAPHONE.

Go and hunt for them this weekend!

    Good Luck!

Really?! But the advertisment below is taken from a Singapore magazine (8 Days, I think. My sis passed it to me, she took it from a classmate :p) I also saw a notice at the VCD rental shop I usually go to that said the AOTC VCD and DVD will be released on Nov 15.

bobafett81 - Don't always believe that Singapore gets its DVDs earlier than the States. The only reason that sometimes happens is because the Code 3 DVDs are produced in this region and thus we get it quickly.

As for anything SW, you know what LucasFilm is like, always restricting and controlling all of its products, because it doesn't want to risk any quality loss in a LF product that is not over-seen by them. That's why I expect the AOTC DVD to be released here on the same day as the States, at the earliest. But, if you're right, then that's great too. :)

    No leh...

I got my Episode I DVD exactly 1 week before the official release date leh!

That's why I'm banking for an early release lor.

Aiyar, u think Mr Lucas can control the DVD stores 3 continents away?

    So, open ur eyes wide!

Acc to DVD Extreme thread, BlueMax and Carrefour will be selling Star Wars Episode II DVD before Next Thu and will retail for around S$39.90 - S$40+.

Reason being VideoVan Singapore ordered too many Episode II DVDs in view of the excellent sales it garnered from Episode I DVD sales in Singapore.

    So hang on!

I got mine too yesterday at a VCD promotion outside West Mall.

The subtitles that should be there (and were there on the big screen) when Poggle speaks, the hologram notifies Palpy that Padmé had arrived, etc. are missing! Is it just my VCD or are they missing on your copies as well??

I think subtitles should be missing in all VCDs and VHS. Last time all my OT has no subtitle regardless of original edition or the SE for the Alien languages. Then, my TPM VCDs also has no subititle. :_| Donno, why. ?[face_plain]
