Was at foodtown last night, and they had an AOTC display, filled with the Star Wars tararua cheese. I would have bought some, but I hate that kind of cheese.

Oh, and Whitcoulls has all the AOTC birthday cards. They're really cool! I'm going to assign my friends and family one card each :)

I stopped by the Albany branch of the Warehouse (Auckland) and picked up a Slave I for $70 - they only had one more left on the shelf though. :)

The Warehouse branches on the North Shore seem to have sold out of most of their Episode II stock already - only a few bits left in any of them. They obviously got WAY less stock then they did for Episode I.

Kitt: You should buy some of that cheese and not eat it. Keep it, unopened, for years! In like 30 years it will be priceless. It shouldn't go off with all the preservatives in it.

    mmmmmmmmmmmm processed cheese //drools//

    :p ;) :D

I'd do that, but my brother would find the cheese and eat it even if it's 30 years old. [face_plain]

    But that doesn't matter because of the preservatives. 8-}

Not figures, but I saw the Episode II Incredible Cross-sections and Visual Dictionary books in a Bennetts bookshop today - $30 each.

I'm still waiting for my copies from the distributor :( , but evidently it looks like they're going to have to order more from the publisher in the UK.

On a happier note, I just ordered my 12" versions of Anakin, Obi-Wan and Clone Trooper from Iconix in Hastings. :) I'm not sure how many they've got, but Hasbro NZ has evidently only brought 33 of each in to the country. :(

Peoples grammar and spelling usually get better in time... there's alway the exception I guess. :p

Sheesh Buzz! Those 12" 'figures' are like $99... EACH!

Wanna throw some of your cash my way? You seem to have quite a bit! and no offense, but those "dolls" aren't even that great. like the LOTR ones - pretty average.

Yep, $99.95. A bit more expensive then the $75 Episode I 12" figures, but still WAY cheaper then getting them sent from overseas.

If you want an EXPENSIVE figure, just try getting a Jorg Sacul. Morons ARE selling/buying these 3 3/4" figures for anywhere from NZ$172 to NZ$284. :_|

There's also a 12" Ultimate Jango Fett being released in June for about NZ$110 - but again in limited numbers here (only about 300 nationwide). :(

I buy these from my Star Wars Budget which is made by saving $x per week - I think I have gone over budget over the last few weeks, but it should re-right itself once the Epsiode II figures slow down again. :)

Thanks for the offer ACERIMMERROCKS, but I think these are either hard to find here or didn't actually make it (yet?). I'll get my checklist from the car later and let you know.

I have stretched my Star Wars budget--and my general budget--for this months. [face_plain] I've got abotu $7, which I'm saving to see AOTC again. :) No money to buy Empire, but it's not out yet anyway.

KMart has 20% of all clothing, if anyone wants a ep 2 t-shirt for $20 bucks. It's one day only, though.

The Episode II figures I haven't been able to find are ...
    • Dexter Jettster (Coruscant Informant)
    • Geonosian Warrior
    • Nikto (Jedi Knight)
    • SaeSee Tiin (Jedi Master)
    :(

I know some people have said they've seen them, but they weren't in the "complete" set available from Iconix and I haven't found them so far - may be these are the ones Hasbro short-pack as ONE per case for some silly reason.

Here's some more info I've got on up-coming Star Wars toys ...
    • Unleashed 7" Figures (about $40 each - due soon)
      - Jango & Bobba Fett
      - Darth Maul

    • Jango Fett 12" Ultimate ($110 - due mid-June)
      Only 300 coming into NZ

    • Republic Vehicle (Troop Transport) ($110 - due late June)

I've no news yet when the next release of 3 3/4" figures are due here though. :(

    I *might* have a contact at Hasbro soon - my mother's friend's workmate's cousin's partner's brother's plumber's dog's hairdresser. :p
