Well, my field trip for today...

Metro has nothing!

Everyone was crowding at Taka to watch the trailer... Boba Fetts spotted there.

Jango Fett was ALL over the place at TOYS R Us Marina.

POD Wisma Atria had Hasbro figures being displayed. There were also free Star Wars mini ads at POD too!

BORDERS has the cross section, AOTC comics, Boba Fett and Anakin kids diary and Jango Fett one shot comics.

 

I saw the AOTC Comics (2 issue) at TIMES, Northpoint but refuse to give in to the full spoiler. Anyway, it was about closing time.

 

Haha..although I'm read alot of other comics, don't think will be buying the normal AOTC comics. I don't really find it as fulfilling the novel or the movie~

 

How about the Manga? I only read ANH in Manga but it's quite interesting although lack a bit more of the Manga style of drawing. (I didn't see that much SD of the characters?)

Well, The Royal Guard has been spotted at Carrefour yesterday evening, $15.90. LIMITED though!

There were tons of Taun Wee, Jar Jar, and the 3 Jedis...

All $15.90 somemore!

 

Quite a few people in my class like manga, but I just don't see what's so nice about it... ?

But I think if someone is more chinese in culture, then that person will like manga more~

 

Add Snow Flakes to the list of Nestle Cereals with AOTC stuffs. But I haven't seen the bigger boxes one yet.

And I gotten the Maul vs QJG ones too!

 

Just got back from NTUC...

The cards come with the 150g or 170g boxes (depending on which cereal). There are 6 cards to collect:

- Obi-Wan & Anakin with Yoda/Dooku & Vader with Sidious
- Qui-Gon vs. Maul
- Battle droids/C-3PO & R2-D2
- Anakin & Padmé/Vader & Leia
- Obi-Wan & Ben Kenobi/Anakin & Vader
- Mace Windu & Clone Troopers/Jango Fett & Clone Troopers


Pencil toppers come with the bigger boxes (300g). There are 7 pencil toppers:

- Yoda
- Jango Fett
- C-3PO
- Anakin Skywalker
- Clone Trooper
- R2-D2
- Darth Vader (special edition)


BTW, check the expiry date before you buy.

 

I gotten Honey Star with Jargo Fett tonight.

Just a little personal comment, the Anakin pencil topper doesn't look that nice, kinda like one of those bootlegged 2"(?) figures (figure keychain) sold back in 1999 (okay lah, a standard higher than those bootlegged TPM ones). The kinda of paint job on the figures doesn't seems to rival's Kelloge's Head Busts produced in 1999 for TPM which IMHO is very good.

Other than Nestle's Cereals, anyone spotted any other SW Promotional Stuffs?

 

Btw people, the Falcon's Hangar has received a new shipment of AOTC figures, in 2 different sets.

The first set has 6 figures including IRG, JJB, Luminara and 3 others, for $105

The second set has 5 figures: Clone trooper, yoda, dooku, anakin and wesell. $90

At this time (sunday) they still should have sets available

I wanna buy..but can at most only afford one set.

I was at Toys R Us at Forum Galleria 3 days ago. There were plenty of 4" figures (Shakti, Geonosian, etc). Can't remember the price though.

But as for 12" ones, there were only Anakin, Obiwan and Clonetrooper. I wanna get the 12" Jango, but they didn't have it.

Need your help here: has anyone seen a 12" Jango anywhere else?
