Star Wars calendars are being sold at the Takashimaya basement, at the usual place beside the fountain, near Auntie Anne's. There's the big wall calendar at $28, a poster art datebook at $28, and the kind of calendar where you tear off a piece each day, at $23.

Yeah I've seen all that, pretty nice, especially the AT-TE and TIE bomber. But what I really want is the UCS Star Destroyer. It's just what I've always dreamed off :D

Except for the estimated S$500.. :(

Hoping to still get it at the end of this year.

I got this in my email today, folks!
Just thought I would share it with everyone here who may be interested in getting this DK book too! :)

    Dear Star Wars Fans,

You saw Episode II. And then you saw it again. You bought the action figures, T-shirts, and the DVD--but do you really know everything about the world of Attack of the Clones? In the new book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (DK Publishing, hardcover, $19.99), you'll find amazing facts about all the key locations from the blockbuster movie. Never-before-seen stills, unbelievable cross-section artwork, and incredible annotations and observations make this a must-have book for every Star Wars fan on the planet. Did you think the lightsaber battle between Yoda and Dooku couldn't get any better? Try watching if after analyzing the annotated floor plans of the hangar where their battle takes place. Overwhelmed by the lightning-fast factory scene where Padmé and Anakin cheat death again and again? Look over the cross section artwork of the droid factory and discover their path.

The DK team behind the book-- author Simon Beecroft, consultant Curtis Saxton, and illustrators Richard Chasemore and Hans Jenssen -- visited Skywalker Ranch, Lucasfilm headquarters in northern California where they sourced the original blueprints, scale drawings, models, and animatics for Attack of the Clones. This amazing access makes Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones an incredible and fascinating resource full of information and artwork unavailable anywhere else. Of course you can get it right now--it's available wherever books are sold.

Still can't get enough Star Wars? Head over to DK.com's Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones feature, where you can read two exclusive interviews with the book's illustrators, Hans Jenssen and Richard Chasemore, find out more about the book, and participate in a Star Wars poll.

May the Force be with you.
