    yeah and they designed the death star. maybe the geonosians are where the empire gets it's fleet manufactured.

    It's likely that most of the imperial ships come from the Republic, and *some* things come from the Confederacy (but not really obvious things-- no one knew the Death Star plans were from the Geonosians)

    Rebel ships probably come from something else, or the Confederacy if the Confederacy is kinda like the Rebel Alliance (possible).
